I was pretty sad about the DS store closing and whatnot but only because I had no idea it would affect turnip prices ever changing again, no dream tours available and the campers at Harvs are like the same 5 over and over. I had no idea how much was affected by it.... Wish I played New Leaf when it came out, but I was late to the animal crossing game world. (Starting playing during covid lol) Also I wasted forever to get the tortimer club thing and it never works for me, I just gave up on it. Also the merch is super cute but other countries never get a chance, unless through third party means and I am not a fan of that.

the whole online shutting down for 3ds can be 'avoided' persay, but thats if you have the 3ds emulator on pc or have a homebrew 3ds, which i am sure someone in the scene will make it possible for us to play online with each other again.

Still confused over the starting a second island with a new purchase of the game; has something changed radically here from needing a new console to actually do this? I've been looking around and not seeing info that differs.

2:54 you say looking for an second island, how can you get an second island if you buy the digital new horizons. Isnt it only one island per console? I have the gamecard. So buying the digital with 33%sale can make me an second island??😮
