It always makes me excited when they bring back Japan-only or GCN original villagers. I was bummed when we only got 8 brand new villagers when NH launched. Luckily they updated the game and brought back not just the 4 Japan-only Villagers you mentioned, but also 4 GCN originals like Rio, Faith, Zoe and Ace. I hope EVERYONE comes back in the next installment, since they seem to slowly be doing that each game, but I don’t know if that’ll ever be possible. As it stands, New Horizons has the most Villagers across any game in the series with 488 as of update 2.0. Maybe we’ll get lucky and the next game will have over 500. I would definitely like more Japan-only ones for sure but there are a bunch of GCN originals I miss like Woolio, Dozer, Cupcake, Rollo and others.

First, I spotted Madame Rosa earlier in the video. She got replaced by Midge on KK Marathon. Second, If I had to choose 1 to return, it would be Taro the Wolf Jock. There are so few wolves in the game, there isn't a wolf jock yet, and he has a really cool design.

Aw I’d like Taro, the male wolves are nearly all cranky (still love them though!) so it would be nice to have a jock wolf

I saw Madame Rosa 2x actually. The first time on K.K. Marathon and the second time on K.K. Dixie and you can find her on the balcony

'Villagers'x3 1st to watch 2nd to find Madame Rosa 3rd to see if I could find one out of 25 that I'd to pick to bring back. I agree that Sunny is adorable. Magumi(sp?) peppy dog looks cute and since peppy is small, one more would be good. I also like wolves so I'd take Taro(sp?) too.

At this rate they need to make a DLC where you can travel to another island and meet and talk to every villager that has ever been in the game, just to see them, the downside of course you cant invite them to your island, so its not like a metagame situation, and like getting a villagers from a friend who's been in your town before, they wont remember you. it would also be really cool to see the same type of mechanic but the developers adding info behind the designs of the villager, like fun facts.

I'm honestly obsessed now with that bird with the giant 👀 eyes. He's amazing. I'm so sad that many of the islander characters that were even in the localized GC version never returned. There's this amazing elephant that looks very Indian inspired, Elina, and of course the GOAT himself, Pigleg the pirate pig. Bring them back, Nintendo!
