I'm one of the members of the Louisville marching band, this was right before halftime so we were trickling onto the sidelines to get ready for our performance ... that squirrel was running on the edge of the stands and jumped onto the field like 5 yards away from where I was standing. We had a bunch of bats gather around our high school field lights to eat all the bugs. They started to get really comfortable by the end of the season, and would go and hang on the fence in the "nosebleed" section right behind the people watching 😂 they'd also fly down really low on the field and in the stands, sometimes only a few feet above people's heads.
