Just to clarify, the drawing is a redraw from a scene in My Little Pony. I used it as a reference to know where to put my characters. I still drew in my own style and everything. Also kind of a weird video but thought it would be interesting to talk about.

When I was much younger, I remember having 'AJ boyfriends' it never got too serious or weird thankfully though. It was just like having a normal friend but you'd do cheesy things like go to restaurants and dances together. One time I even gave one person a rare nm glove, and they never took it off. I feel like a lot of the time people just did the dating thing out of boredom though, and thought it'd be funny? Myself included- But I'm sure there was plenty of less innocent situations though, so this is purely my experience! (And I definitely wouldn't recommend doing this, as it's dangerous and there's far better things to do, y'know?)

Flashbacks to AJ dating- There’s also a bit of, not really a problem, but it’s difficult for Jammers, like how you’ve mentioned some fake their genders. But for some who are part of LGBT such as myself, who use a different gender other than their assigned gender. Because it’s not their fault, like sometimes I go to school roles and play as a girl and then some guy just asks me to be his prom date. Or I chose a male OC and a girl asks to be my crush. I can’t really control the things others do when I’m using a different identity. Cuz IK that some people aren’t tryna date and stuff on AJ they just wanna enjoy themselves.

I feel the "faking gender" portion is sensitive, because several people could claim someone was lying bc said person is trans. It gets transphobic quickly in many scenarios.

Okay this is kinda funny, i am not QUITE sure about "liking" Greely, but i certainly was coming up with scenarios with him, Basically i could never imagine romantic situations (i still can't) and given i was 10 at that time i didn't even consider it being romance, but as soon as i got my arctic wolf, i imagined that character being like, a young arctic wolf pup whos desperate to get Greely's attention and ending up becoming like a goofy sidekick/friend Idk if it counts as romance but i feel like it was really funny

omg i remember when i was 9 i had an ajpw arctic wolf "bf". we kinda just hung out a lot and spammed the love and blushing emojis until one day i found out he had three other "gfs" and we were all in his den one night having this huge argument and he ended up choosing one of them and abandoning the rest of us. i cried for the next few days but now when i look back on it i laugh :P

Man I was a cursed child. I used to go around as a snow arctic wolf getting “wolf online bfs” and eventually doing the dirty…. It is a big part of animal jams problem. I also used to watch jam mating videos (I was 9 I’m 15 now 😂) I regret when I did that because now I have a bunch of old and new jamagrams from the people I used to “date” asking where I want? And asking to come to their den and others trying to get through the moderation system asking me to mate- moral of the story just don’t online date your gonna regret it. Just be a wholesome player

I remember one of my most popular videos I made like 5 years ago was a choppy scratch animation joking about the animal jam yt ships that was basically like "wisteriamoon is too good for y'all have fun fighting over her". I guess I've always felt that shipping real people, even their characters that represent them, is weird. I also remember doing animal jam dating rps, I just saw it as similar to family rps or warrior cats rps, I didn't feel bad about going on a date with one person, then after they leave going to find another one, I never thought it could be "cheating" because it was a rp to me, not a relationship. For similar reasons I sometimes did play along if I was wearing a more "masculine" outfit and someone asked me on a "date" cause I just saw it as pointless fun. It was a bit annoying though when people constantly thought I was a guy for wearing my favorite outfits just cause I rlly didn't like the eyelash eyes on most animals.

Bro flashback moment, I remember back when I was a guest (for like over 6 months lol) I met this Arctic wolf at the dance party with my friends and he had “fallen” for me XD. Me and my friends went to his den and all we did was do heart and blush emojis. I remember when I had to go he told me to remember his user and buddy him once I made an account.....

I had an AJ boyfriend when I was in sixth grade… we were both wolves and adopted a bunny as our “child.” He was super sweet and gave me a TON of rare items, then when he went offline I told our bunny child that “daddy died and he’s never coming back!”

I love sitting on the love bench between coral canyons and crystal sands and wait for random people to sit with me, and once they do- I start doing the blush emoji, which can really stir up conversation between people passing through- its fun messing around with people like that, especially if the random person of the bench plays along lol

This was years ago on AJ classic , but as far as I remember someone was advertising their den I forgot what the description was but I went in, and saw people mostly arctic wolfs, and they were doing emotes, I seen two people were both on a sofa, one was rolling and shaking their fur/ aka the play emote. And the other was behind them, dancing emote, me as a 6-8 year old with a membership, I was an arctic wolf so I fit in. I was like, oh this is a game? and went and did the playing emote on the sofa and a random came up to me and started ‘dancing’ behind me. I got bored and then left. I soon realized after the fact that it was some highly inappropriate gross stuff

i have a cute story about this, i met my first partner on animal jam (more specifcally a skype server for the game) i was 14 at the time just minding my buisness when someone joined our little skype group, on their account it had their location and they were in the same state as me, i was so amazed someone could live this close to me and like the same things as me!! we got to talking more and more and when i turned 15 they asked me to be their girlfriend, it was my first ever relationship, hell the first ever person i even liked, i didnt know i was gay at that point but said yes anyway, we were together for 10 months and actually met up once during those months, they were my first kiss and the first time i'd ever felt so close to someone months and years go by and we continued talking, we barely play the game anymore apart to come back for nostalgia but we're 18 now and they're still the love of my life, we see eachother almost every week sometimes more and often joke about the way we met now that we're adults its really cute and fun to look back on :)

in my opinion, this is something that was caused by the player base, i dont think its exactly wildworks fault although they could have put more restrictions. this is something that happened in literally every other kids game i played when i was younger. most notably, i think the worst was movie star planet. but even now days in popular online kids games its still happening, like on roblox. but i agree, i just wish all these developers would put more measures in place to keep their young fan base safe

Side note before I put what I came down here to comment: I love the art you did in this video! I've been obsessed with MLP again recently, and Spike and Thorax in your style is adorable! When I was younger (10-11 years old), when I first started playing AJ, I would pretend that my account was a shared account. I would play as both the "brother" and the "sister" (I'm an only child). I would even do videos on RU-vid where I'd say stuff about "oh, I'm gonna level up my brother's animal today" or "my sister left it on her animal again." When I had discovered the wonderful world of Pillow Room roleplays, at first, I would be a kid who'd get adopted. That evolved into me being the parent adopting the kid, and then one day, I saw a girl looking for a boyfriend. I was currently playing on one of the boy arctic wolves on my account, so I became this random girl's boyfriend. We became really good friends and hung out all the time, but eventually my account got randomly banned for a reason AJHQ wouldn't explain to me, and I never found the girl again.

I’ve been asked to be dated 8 times in aj and ajc

When I was younger and playing ajpw I sadly gotten involved in the weird side of the game. Was with my old online friends and this weirdo came up to us, saying how he wanted to do things to my friend, and we argued and left. For a few days after he came back weirder and more annoying. He straight up STALKED us nonstop. He would do breeding dens and strip clubs and we would see it all the time. and it;s Been like that for 2 years since my friend refused to block or lock her den since she thought the whole situation was funny. Me and others of our old friend group thought someone keeps pretending to be the stalker, but we couldnt pinpoint who or how so we just drifted off and it stopped. This all started when I was in 4th grade btw :/ i didnt rlly think of it now until recently and wow has that been terrible. I really do not want to go through that again, and the toxicity of it either. It was all over the place.

I never got into this weirdness but I knew some peeps who did and lets just say it is weird as heck! I mean I know some little kids do it for fun and don't understand what they are doing but for the more mature kids (or adults) eck! I just hope nobody gets hurt by doing this. This really can be a problem sometimes- I once accidentally did the dirty with someone on ajpw, since I didn't understand what it was at the time. I was only either 8 or 9, and had no clue what was going on until a bit later, where I reported them. Thankfully, they got banned soon after, but it still is something I remember all too well. I feel like it does get a bit out of control when someone can just pick up a kid by just asking, "Who is a girl?". I feel like it might have gotten a bit better today, but that's just what I've been able to see.

Omg I literally had a whole story with my tiger OC where Greely continuously pulls them down (mentally) even though their self esteem is already in the drain but as their going down slowly with the parachute it pops and the phantoms catch them, and because of all the built up courage a phantom type I made (Phantom Tamer: if a captured animals courage is high enough they’ll be corrupted, they’ll act like normal phantoms and will attack you like the AJPW style of fighting, but instead of paintseeds you have to attack any part of their body that looks like the phantom goop, if you hit them enough the goop will explode and so will the animal, you will then never see that specific animal in the phantom dimension again. ((BC YOU KILLED THEM)) chose them to be an ally with the phantoms, and then corrupted them so they can’t be mistaken for normal animals. And is basically a slave to the phantoms, and ends up being forgotten by the alphas, not getting help from them in any way shape or form.

I remember i dated someone in ajpw at around 2018-2019 My account was actually set to bubble chat mode bc the person who controlled my account saw me talk to other people, which is basically the whole point of the game Anywho, my animal was a blue and yellow Arabian horse with a blue and yellow spiked collar, nothing too special, but apparently it was enough for one person to assume I was a boy, which I am not Anywho, I don't really remember how we started dating, but I think they just flirted with me and I decided to play along and respond with the limited bubble chat speech, I mostly remember what happened while we were dating tho At one point they adopted a child, but I didn't really interact much with them, it was mostly me and the person I dated talking to eachother, nothing innapropriate or creepy, and they never asked for personal info if I'm correct. Also I still remember their username and it says that they haven't played in over a month, I'm surprised their account wasn't deleted, considering that they never log on, also I got a new account after that so no, I don't have them buddied, but i check their account every now and then to see if they ever log on or if the account gets deleted thanks to being inactive for so long

The closest I ever got to dating in AJ was when I first joined. My (now ex) boyfriend and I were just looking for new animal games to try out, since the one we had been playing, Sanctum of Eventide (an old Impressive Title server), had recently shut down. We ended up finding Animal Jam and just used it to hang out with each other when we didn't feel like being on Skype. I was 18 at the time, so obviously I never tried to date anyone else in the game after my boyfriend and I broke up. I still play regularly, but I tend to just keep to myself and leave the room if someone starts flirting or using those obnoxious heart emojis.

Ik this is an old video but I was groomed on animal jam. I was only 10-11 at the time and I genuinely really liked this person and I didn’t know they were older than me until eventually he told me to get this certain app to talk on. He ended up calling me and I realized he was much older since his voice was deep. I felt dirty and gross by the stuff he would send me and I wish I hadn’t gone through that. Some random (obviously female looking) jammer approached me and just sent heart emojis over and over. At first I shrugged it off but then I questioned what it all meant. They said "I like you" I was like "as a friend" and they were like "no I like like you" and I was like "I literally have never spoken to you before you don't even know my gender" they responded "I don't care". I left the the area to another peice of land in aj. I was a girl btw, I was just making male characters and my other aj oc's were mostly gender less or girls but I didn't like how the eyelash eyes looked on aj so I didn't use them
