The worst is those tedious tutorials and nonstop cut scenes…. Some games don’t even feel like games anyway, but just annoying interactive movies. If I wanted to be annoyed and just watch, I’d turn on Netflix

@Roko-jb5hl I make the argument that modern AAA games often have focused so much on graphical fidelity, cutscenes, VA, etc., to the point they've almost put more time in the "video" and forgotten the "game" part. I'm honestly just tired and don't have time to play these huge games anymore unless it's something really important to me. They've become too expensive, and like you said, if I wanted to watch all these cinematics, I'd probably just watch a movie. Sometimes they can be good for simulations and role-playing, but sometimes I just want to play a fun game with clever and interesting mechanics that makes me feel I'm in control (because as the player, I literally should be). It's what a "controller" is for.

IGN review said the credits rolled after 6 hours, but it has a postgame that kept them playing for another two dozen hours. That’s just one source, though.

From sources 5-6 hours to get credits. With around 20+ hours of post-game puzzles and extras

Long-play competionists (FuryForged on RU-vid) said that his first playthrough took him 90 hours, with more to go afterwards.

I just beat it in 7 hours and played another 2. Tons of secrets and areas I haven't hit yet

You can beat it in 6 or so hours if you focus on the main objectives, but there’s enough side/postgame content to keep playing for at least 100 hours. The side/postgame content does require a fair bit of patience and backtracking, be warned, but if puzzle games are your thing, you’ll get a ton of mileage out of the game.

I would like to know this aswell. Can't figure out if I want this for Switch or Ps5

@@wonderfulemir6202 Comment from someone on the switch subreddit: I played it for like two hours on Switch yesterday (Japanese eShop) and it’s probably the best running game on Switch I’ve ever seen. Absolutely instant loads and screen transitions. Extremely smooth and consistent frame rate with no stutter or frame pacing issues whatsoever. It’s absolutely flawless, which is so nice after suffering through both Tales of Kenzera Zao and Another Crab’s Treasure recently, which both have horrific performance on Switch.
