Hua Tuo, can only be activated on the owners turn, during main phase 1 if I’m not mistaken. So the 4:48 play seems off Edit: Only reason I caught it is because I have never seen this card before and read it.
That opening sound is my alarm to wake me up for school, so every time I hear it I get some sort of ptsd kind of thing 😂 the noise has just been engraved in my head as a bad sound
After seeing keyfer’s deck I am going to get to work on a vaevictis deck that I never got around to building it seems like it would be pretty fun to play
@@HeirophantCarneus I might have missed something but I don't think he ever had Lattice and Clock out together. He had the Clock on the battlefield when he cast Scrap Mastery so it went to the graveyard at the same time the Lattice returned to the field.
Caan you upload some Jarad, Golgari Lich Games with Top down view? I want to see what people have done with that card and I would love to see it in action.
4:51 Hua Tau, can only be activated during your turn. So he could not have used it to put the dawn treader elk back on top in response to blastphemous act
Yeeeeeeeeeeeees, a game featuring Vaevitis Asmadi, the Dire, my favorite commander of all time = instant like! And he also got to do realy nice things.
Andrew, if I'm not mistaken, on your last turn you could have cast cleansing Nova choosing artifacts and enchantments to wipe and reset the whole board? Did you choose not to because you didn't want to be the bad guy and did you regret not doing so given how the game ultimately ended?
Hey Muddstah. Love the video and the work you do as always. Have you thought about going Ishtai/Vial Smasher over Tymna though? A spellslinger deck running Tymna seems a bit counterintuitive as you are lacking the creatures to get triggers while with Ishtai, you could naturally grow her with spells, use Curiosity effects with Vial Smasher to keep a filled hand, and naturally have more spells with the extra color. Just a suggestion for you. Keep up the great work!
Vandalblast after Lattice is classic, but he could have wrecked the opponents the turn before by casting Daretti, bringing back lattice, then using scrap mastery. Putting your worldbreaker "combo" one turn later is a dangerous game, but it paid off in this situation.
@@tricholysis thanks I wasn’t sure. I have been playing magic for about four years and just recently got into commander and have been watching a lot of casual games and a lot of cedh so thanks
You can generally tell cEDH games from casual ones by the players' mana base and strategies. cEDH players normally run the most expensive mana rocks (Mana Crypt, Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, etc.) and lands (original duals, Ancient Tomb, etc.), and have the most efficient combos as their main wincon. If a player is blue, they also run the standard counterspell package: Force of Will, Pact of Negation, Force of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Flusterstorm, Mana Drain, etc. Early explosive turns are a very common thing in those games, and most of them are a race to see who pulls off their combo first. This channel is all about casual games, with most decks floating between mid and high power.
8:50 Adam could have won right here if he tutored for Chandra's Ignition with the Mystical Tutor and tutored Ancestral Statue with the green sun zenith
@@matheusrian7521 People build decks however they want. That's part of the fun! You also can't tutor Statue with Green Sun Zenith. It has a clause that only allows for green creatures ot be found.
@@matheusrian7521 Ah, sorry! It's hard to read the tone in comments sometimes. There are often a lot of people who just look to criticize other peoples decks. I appreciate you point out that sweet combo though. I LOVE Chandra's Ignition.
@@MTGMuddstah yes! like the ones you find on the MTG sub reddits and stuff. i was just looking at them and i think they would make for some great games!
