I can understand Timmy's reaction in this episode. He was fine with loaning his fairies to Tootie because she was miserable. Chloe isn't miserable so he feels as if he's being treated unfairly. Chloe, in my opinion, is the worst part of this episode.
i really liked the idea of having timmy share his fairies with someone , but chloe was just a dumb decission they made if you ask me , should have been an existing character , or maybe if they needed to add a new female character, have it be some sort of twin sister of timmy that was either long lost for 10 years , or have him make a wish that ends up somehow creating a sister for timmy and so they both get cosmo and wanda since both are mistreated by vicky

He literally has had Cosmo and Wanda as godparents before, and you could then play on the conflict of Timmy being jealous versus his relationship with one of his closest friends. Hell, if we're ignoring the rules anyway he could have had to share with Remmy! That could actually breathe some story conflict into the show. Oh no, let's just put one of the worst character designs possible in there and shoehorn in some bad writing to try and make kids feel sorry for her.

I hate that in the episode Timmy asks why does she need fairies if her life is perfect and Jorgen was supposed to answer it but instead he dodges the question!!!
That right there should tell you the writers are just pulling things out of their asses whether they make sense or not. Not really their fault, they’re fresh out of ideas and Nickelodeon wants episodes so they just squeeze something out no matter how bad.
There's a saying out there that there is no sense in beating a dead horse. The logic of the staff behind The Fairy Odd Parents, however, seems to be to continually beat that dead horse until it no longer resembles a horse.
My biggest issue with Chloe is that she didn't have to share fairies with Timmy. It would have made a cool concept having your next door neighbor who also happens to have fairies. New character, and a new take on it. She won't be an antagonist like the ones before her. Not to mention almost every kid in the show that isn't a main character could have been a potential candidate for a fairy godparent. Chester, AJ, Tootie? What if there was a twist that they all had fairies and Timmy didn't know? They each get an episode about their fairies and what they wish for. That'd be an interesting idea. But nah. We gotta have this chick whose flaw is that she's too perfect.
Then a writer on the show screwed up; I don't remember the name of the episode, but Timmy's dad went to jail because of a money wish. It might have been the episode the genie was introduced.

So who else has noticed how Cosmo's voice has changed along the show's run? Toward the beginning, his voice was on the higher end of the spectrum, yes, but it was still a natural voice. He sounded much less air-headed than he does now, and more like someone who could conceivably be a husband and guardian to a human child. As the show went on, he became stupider and stupider, as did Wanda, and his voice got high to the point of falsetto. It's very grating now.

I find it sad that while as time went on, Fairy OddParents became a former shell of itself, while Nickelodeon's other cash cow, Spongebob has actually started to IMPROVE again after the near decade of crap it had become. That said, FOP is (hopefully) finally being killed off. Sad to see it go in such a sad state, but it's for the best.
Even in SpongeBobs worst moments it's still able to produce a gem here and there to out do the bad. Plus they've never added any main character unlike FOP.

If it wasn't for the fact that Chloe is overly perfect, she could've actually helped this show. What if, say, she was a very kind and generous person, but she was so selfless that she was almost a doormat who had a hard time standing up for herself, and as a result people end up taking advantage of her kindness? It would allow you to better justify her sharing fairy godparents with Timmy, as she would actually be miserable, and heck, maybe Timmy could see her being distraught about being such a pushover and wish to have Cosmo and Wanda also be her fairy godparents to give her the opportunity to metaphorically let her hair down and be a bit more selfish now and then, maybe even help her to stand up for herself a bit. But no, we need to have her be a Mary Sue, do-no-wrong character who really has no reason to feel sad at all.
Jorge Davila How exactly is she not a Sue? Everybody in the story likes her, the one person who doesn't is treated like a jackass, she has pretty much no personality flaws other than being too perfect, and that whole "I just end up annoying people by trying to help" thing is not worth being used as an example of a character flaw precisely because of how many people are heads-over-heels in love with her. If we are supposed to believe that she annoys people by trying too hard to help them, don't have a character refer to her as the "Perfect human being" and actually show her trying to help people but just ending up causing more harm than good.
Jorge Davila If the writers were that smart, nobody would be gushing all over her in the first place. In storytelling, it's show, don't tell- and the viewer is given no indication other than Timmy "Flanderized" Turner not wanting to be Chloe's friend other than them lazily pigeonholing it in near the end of the story.

This episode has more problems, Anti Fairies are supposed to be invisible, and you can only see them with a special helmet or something. In this one they are clearly visible and everyday people seem to be well aware of them. Also, remember when the wands fell down that ravine? Well Cosmo pulls out his wand and makes that projector appear, and then later they fall down the ravine and retrieve the wands. How did they let that slip?
I believe in the Jimmy + Timmy Power Hour Crossover Ep, Jorgen punished the Anti Fairies by changing the rules were they can be visible. That was in a older season but unlike this Ep it gave a explanation and a good plot compared to this one which gives no explanation about Sparky and Poofs absence and has a crap story.

Apparently, Sparky's voice actor has claimed the reason he is yet to appear in season 10 is because Nickelodeon executives decided to remove him from the show due to his negative reception by fans and the network. Poof is stated to return in episode 35 of the 10th season, however it's also been said it may be his only appearance in the season. The apparent reason for this is by quote "Difficult to have plots with too many main characters in each episode." That is absolutely hilarious and proof that these characters were pulled out of thin air for nothing more than to make the show seem relevant. They are out right admitting these characters are too much and unnecessary.
And they were right. Certifiable Super Sitter was Poof's only appearance in the 10th season. I just checked imdb to be sure of that. The rules are important. It's not even about plot so much as the discipline of the creators. Chuck Jones (the director of Looney Tunes) stressed the importance of having a standard of logical rules to go along with his characters. For instance: Bugs Bunny would never pick a fight; he retaliates, never instigates. No outside force, including The Road Runner, could harm Wile E Coyote; only the coyote's own ineptitude could be the catalyst of his bodily harm. Yes, Looney Tunes, one of the whackiest shows in history, was far more structured than most modern day cartoons. Humor requires some relatability. And relatability requires a sense of logical groundedness. And you need rules to be grounded. Limitation evokes creativity. Restrictions are necessary, and the discipline of an artist is necessary to uphold these restrictions in order to get the point of his/her show across, whether that point be a riveting plot, a moral lesson, or a joke. You start breaking the foundation of your own creation, and you become Family Guy: the show where the directors throw a bunch of shit against a storyboard and let the audience decide what sticks.

Rockymann27 Who says that _"Wile E never speaks"_ was ever a rule to begin with? Not unlike Wile E being given a voice when paired with Bugs, Sylvester was muted whenever he was paired with Porky Pig. And Daffy Duck's name isn't _"Duck Dodgers,"_ either, but that didn't stop Chuck Jones from placing him in the role of a 24½th century space explorer. His rule for the show was that the core identity of the characters remain intact. As long as their motives and action were heeded, the characters were not disparaging what the audience expected of them. The obvious standard was that his character's actions were a product of a consistent personality. Of course, that has little to do with Wile E never catching the Road Runner, for instance, but that's just an esoteric rule, and goes to show just how important setting boundaries were to a show that you'd never identify as having "continuity" in the usual context the word is used. Anyway, point is Fairly Oddparents suck because they break the Law of Conservation of Detail, constantly excusing themselves from their own (literal) rulebook for the sake of asspulled narratives.
If Chloe already had fairy odd parents and wished everybody to really like her, then there could've been an interesting idea here. I mean, what better way to introduce a character than have them cause mischief and make this sort of thing kind of like the norm. And it's like, at the end of the episode, Timmy finds out she just got her fairies and her first wish was for everybody to like her because *insert sad story here*, but since Timmy (who let's say wasn't written to be a spoiled ass in this episode) was really nice to her even when she unwished everything, they became friends even though she still causes mayhem in future episodes because she's new to this wishing thing... Timmy could be like a bigger brother to her since he already knows how this works (or at least he should by now). Maybe his fairies are taken away and given to her since he has a good life now, but since she lives right next door and Jorgen decides not to erase his memory of his fairies [for reasons], he can become a side character and her the new main protagonist. It's a huge shift, but hell it's really needed at this point, and better for Timmy to still keep his character and grow while still be there once in a while rather than for him to suddenly become so immature for no other reason than to make Chloe look better...
It's just like spongebob unfortunately and got the same treatment. They were both great shows in their time and were creative as well as funny, and since they were successful Nick decided to milk the SHIT out of it. I remember when it was good. It was actually kinda clever and most of the jokes were funny, but it's so damn repetitive now that Nick is REALLY just beating a dead horse with this shit.

The only show that pulled it off tbh was SU, they didn't make it some kinda joke or duck lip shit it felt more like "let's just take some pics" plus it only happens once.
Here's an idea: Take Cloe out, take out the anti characters. Add a villan into the show who is actually miserable and who might want to take Timmy's fucking fairies to wish their misery away.
... Isn't the villain you want essentially Denzel Crocker? He's like a 50-some dead end Teacher who lives with his mother, and had his life ruined not only by his obsession with Fairies, but also by Timmy being the one who screwed him up as a child (and he doesn't even remember that).
This is the second time I came across a comment on this video in one viewing that I could base and entire screenplay for an episode of TFO off of that would inevitably be better than this one.

Seeing what FOP became made me very happy that I dropped the show when I did during Season 9, when I realized that they no longer give a shit about continuity (_Let Sleeper Dogs Die_ v. _The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker!_), consistency (changing around the max age that someone can have fairies from 18 to 11, bumping up Timmy's age once and forgetting about it) and original gags (Timmy's spazzing out gag getting repeated almost every episode, funny the first time, annoying the 50th). R.I.P Fairy Odd Parents. We need to kill everyone who still watches the show so that the show no longer makes money for Nickelodeon.

I think if a series end when its good it can get bad. This applies to Gravity Falls, Invader Zim( yeah I know it got cancelled, but still better than having Invader Zim today with 15 characters ), Bionicle G1(i am including this because it was cancelled on the right time ), Samurai Jack, Avatar and some other shows. FOP and Spongebob Squarepants are really bad today.

I heard the Fairly Odd Parents was animated to flash, then it got moved to Nicktoons, when a show gets moved to Nicktoons, it's pretty much dead. The shows not cancelled... yet. But usually shows that get moved on there, it dies off.
So instead of giving Tootie a fairy, they do this? That would've been the smart decision but NOPE. Tootie's the most miserable character on the show and they decide leave her as a forgotten character.
Knowing tootie though, I think i could be safe to assume that she accidentally blabbed about her having a fairy at one point (most likely to timmy to impress him) and when that happened someone overheard and she lost her fairy

Actually, the episode that Remy debuted in stated that any kid that has a godparent can tell other kids about them as long as they also have a godparent... Unless Tootie had hers before Timmy got Cosmo and Wanda and she blabbed then.
For some reason, it's a hobby of mine to take films or shows, or just episodes, that didn't work, and try to make them work with the same basic plot and concept. After a little bit of thought, and having never seen a single episode of this show, here's how I would handle it. People probably still wouldn't like it, and that it's a franchise in living death, but at least it wouldn't be offensively bad like it is now. The episode starts out about the same way, but nobody has any actual reasons for liking Chloe, like Timmy's dad with her stock market advice. They just do for no reason, and she doesn't pay much attention to any of them. What she does notice in her classroom introduction is Timmy, and specifically Cosmo and Wanda. Once Jorgen says the bit about sharing (which is probably just to spite Timmy anyway), Timmy goes to Chloe's place to find his fairies. Chloe is visibly uncomfortable throughout this scene, and attempts to tell Timmy that it's fine, he can keep his fairies if he wants. She uses the bit about Fridays to calm him down, and tries to stop him when he wishes that there were no more Fridays. After the fiasco with Nega-Poof starts, Timmy continues to call out his fairies, who almost completely ignore him while they fawn over Chloe's suggestions to keep things under control. He storms off with an angry rant about how not even they care about him anymore. Chloe follows him and tells him what the deal is: She used to be bullied in school, and ended up with fairies of her own. She wished that she was popular, but found the constant attention to be too difficult to deal with. Unfortunately, before she could wish things back to normal, she ended up losing her fairies and was stuck that way. The wish has been around so long that even other kids' fairies try to grant her wishes instead of the kids they're actually assigned to. She's seen firsthand how badly a wish can go wrong, but even so she's happy that she's not being bullied anymore. She tells Timmy that having fairies is a good thing, and not to waste them over a single bad day. Timmy thinks about this, and eventually decides that even if he does want to keep his fairies, they're only listening to Chloe, so she has to wish to reinstate Fridays. Unfortunately, since a wish can only be undone by the same kid who wished it, Timmy has to handle it himself. He finds Cosmo and Wanda and apologises for his behaviour towards them, and wishes that Fridays were normal again. The wands are recharged, Nega-Poof is dealt with, and everything goes back to relatively normal. Chloe decides to move on, not wanting to make Timmy's already messed-up life any worse by distracting his fairies. She thanks him for being the first real friend she's ever had, and the episode closes on a montage of life returning to normal and everyone forgetting about Chloe, as Timmy writes her a letter in a voice-over. (Alternatively, if you can't get rid of Chloe completely, just have her move to the other side of Dimmsdale, and Timmy still writing her a letter.) What do you guys think? Would you watch the episode if it was like this? It probably wouldn't save the show, since Chloe only appears in the one episode, but she wasn't going to save it anyway.
I would totally watch the plot you've created over the one we were given any day. if anything, it's closer to the original fairly odd parents than the actual episode we were given.
Timmy has shared his fairies with Tootie and Vicky, as well as Carl, Sheen, Libby, and Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron. There's no way or reason for Timmy to not be willing to share his fairies when he's been willing to share their magic for other people. Heck, Timmy even allowed others to use their magic indirectly like in teh christmas special where they got 1 free wish after christmas for what they wanted, or the magic lemonaid episode.
***** It was an episode of Timmy making Vicky younger and making her miserable, giving her Cosmo and Wanda and Timmy the realization that he's acting like Vicky. I forgot the title of it.
+Pega Butt The problem here is that unlike all those other times, minus the episode with Vicky as those were extenuating circumstances, Timmy willingly shared and with someone less fortunate than himself. Here Chloe is utterly perfect, there's some made up 'fairy shortage' (I refuse to believe out of the literal millions of fairies we've seen over the series there's suddenly a shortage), and there was no warning beforehand. Jorgen literally just showed up out of nowhere and said 'lol you gotta share now!'. Other than the fact that Chloe 'can't make friends' she doesn't deserve fairies unlike Timmy who's routinely neglected by his parents, has a homicidal baby sitter, a homicidal bully, and a teacher who's had it out for him even before he had fairies. Its been showcased time and time again that Timmy actually does need Cosmo, Wanda, Poof and I guess Sparky whereas Chloe is introduced to the plot for no reason other than to make Timmy look selfish despite the instances showing otherwise.
+Pega Butt He lent them out to fulfill a momentary need, or when other characters were in trouble or unhappy. Chloe was forcibly assigned on his fairies despite not needing them.
I feel like the reason that kinda makes sense with that is that Timmy willingly did those things, but gave all of them some sort of boundary like how Tootie only had them until her birthday was over and of course because she was miserable.. Here, Timmy wasn't in control, it was all Jorgen's idea. And he didn't have any say so he had a tantrum- when a child willingly shares, they're okay, but when something is taken and they're told to just deal with it, then of course they're gonna get upset.. Not to mention, Timmy actually is a miserable kid- so of course he'd see it as unfair when the perfect little girl who everyone loves on the spot and is amazing at everything gets his fairies..
Theory: Chloe's dad molests her then buys her stuff out of guilt, that's the real reason she's miserable. Makes a lot more sense than the reason they come up with.

You're not gonna fucking believe this. The newest episode of the fairly oddparents was done in FLASH. It looked godawful. And it's a nicktoons exclusive now. It's definitely getting cancelled. They're crying for help.
The idea of Timmy having to share his fairies with another kid is not bad per se. The real issue is that Timmy has to share them with someone who doesn't need them. Let us think about what kind of person the other kid should be: Timmy isn't exactly dumb, he can come up with smart solutions, when things go wrong. He is just impulsive. Which is basically the plot to many episodes, Timmy makes a wish without thinking it through and then has to fix it. But that is what happens in this episode, Chloe makes a wish without thinking it through and then has to fix it, making the character entirely pointless. I would say the ideal partner is an overthinker.
+Schwarzer Ritter the point i think is that this would have fit better earlier in earlier seasons, here it's being used as a way to jump the shark and jump-start the shows dying lifeline. not too mention for example the the rules says one cannot un-wish another child's granted wish...which goes to Enter's point that the rules turned from a set of guidelines to give the plot structure, too another way in which to facilitate plot and keep the show going.

Mckenzie .Latham I went and watched the episode, wasn't great, but didn't stink the only two plot holes I could see is the wish where Timmy wishes he could be as far as possible from Chloe, sending him to the center of the earth and the fairies magically poofing a projector when they didn't have wands... The rule actually reads: "a Godchild(term for a kid with fairies) may not undo a other godchild's wish" Gordon could undo the wish as he is a fairy...
Can we discuss the fact that immediately after Cosmo and Wanda dropped their wands, Cosmo pulled a wand out of his ass to "poof" the video screen into existence to show off why Chloe is totally miserable?
Fairly Odd Parents should just end already. It's not as good as it used to be. It's just gonna get worse if they continue it. Nickelodeon is already in a shithole so might as well just let it go.
Don't even bother, much like PIEGUYRULZ and John Enter, nobody's sending any emails, nobody's writing any petitions, they're just letting the network do what it wants to do.
My younger brother still complains to me about how this new character is a Mary Sue and extremely forced. I agree. Poof's enterance was acceptable. The others? Not so much. I gave up on the show when the dog came in. Suzy really is basically a ten year old's self insert. She's perfect and everyone loves her, yet she has what she considers a tragic past (not to mention a kind of messy color pallet, common of self inserts). What used to be my favorite show is now a train wreck.
+DJ Elfin Well to me she is NOT a Mary Sue, that I disagree with MrEnterman and a lot of others, as much as you all don't like it or hate it, she isn't. She as stated screws all her good intentions up and basically has no friends. Sure the episode could of given better examples of that like her being chased by an angry mob and everyone unfriending her, I saw what the episode was trying to but that's where it epic failed. She does in fact need fairy godparents, she has no friends at the end of the day and is miserable for it.(yet its shown little to none how it really affects her, for fuck sake at least make her cry because of it) The episode had a good idea but executed soooooo poorly.
Sometimes I worry that a character of mine is a Mary-Sue, but then I see characters like this. My character is flawed, and they're not cute, they're frustrating. If she has any potential to be totally accepted by the canon cast of characters, she too easily fucks that up herself, because she can be annoying to be around. She's no 100% annoying at least, since what I'm calling annoying is actually just her short temper and habit of not telling people things she probably should be. Because of her border line Mary-Sueness, I don't want to write the story. She's okay by herself but it would effect the characters in a way that would be too Mary-Sue if I don't write the scene well. So if I do anything with her I'll take her out of the world and place her in her own with new characters and new situations, because she can work like that. I wouldn't dare do what this episode does, because unlike my own, Chloe will never work out in anything.
+Armin Alert (pico faustus) Excessively 'cute' for no reason and a crazy amount of detail in her outfit and face, whereas everyone else is rather plain, two things which come together to form a tempest of "hey look at me, I'm an adorable girl, gimme all your attention!"

They've said several times that the show was ending, like with Channel Chasers, Wishology and the one where Timmy's parents find out he has fairies. But for whatever reason, it keeps coming back

+Repolog2011 In terms of garbage, Sanjay & Craig is not as bad as all of Nick's new reality shows (although Im not 10, I have other things to do and watch besides it, so maybe some kids do like it? Doubt it.) Especially the hilariously low budget pre-teen girl shows that are played on weekdays. 1st it was a witch (ok), then it was a chef (um), and now its KPOP (Thereisnogod). What's next? Sophia the Doctor? Angelica the Cab Driver?
At least SpongeBob /is/ kind of trying to go back to its roots of what made it funny. I mean, at least they're not making One Coarse Meals anymore. While I'm glad Hillenburg came back(? Don't know if that was true or a rumor but some of the newest episodes /don't/ actually suck), I am of the camp that the series should have ended with the first movie. (Though the second movie, while not as funny, /was/ quite enjoyable to sit through...in that it didn't feel like a chore to sit with my little brother to the end.)

I pretty much agree here honestly. Can I also talk about how flanderized Cosmo and Wanda are in this episode? They both act so out of character, much like Timmy. Both of them instantly are onboard with Timmy sharing with Chloe, not being worried or scared or ANYTHING! Usually they'd be as detested or discussed as Timmy, like being afraid of losing him or something. Or how Wanda is usually all about the implications of the bad stuff that comes out of unusual situations, here, she doesn't even bother explaining the rules or implications of the bad misfortunes of the wishes Chloe makes, yet with Timmy she always nags at him. Hell when Timmy's trying to get back to Chloe's house neither Cosmo nor Wanda give two fucks Timmy was being tortured by monsters. Another thing that pisses me off about Wanda in the newer episodes is how malicious her tone feels when it comes to other characters in certain situations. I remember how the first season spent its time telling Timmy all the rules and outcomes his wishes could have good or bad, this was mostly from Wanda, they've completely thrown out any logic concerning "Da Rules" at this point. I'm also so tired of the "OH NOES WE LAWS R WANS!" plot convince, yet they magically have them the next scene. "It's almost like it's there to create totally pointless drama. Hell she acts like Chloe has been with them for years and that Timmy is a selfish awful person for many years. It's bad. This is more evident to how Chloe is a Mary-sue. What also gets me is "Kids can't unwish other kids wishes" yet Timmy has wished away several wish from other kids before. Remember Remy Buxaplenty? Oh I forgot this is Modern FOP, the show that ignores all logic to make it fit whatever they make up. Timmy was the only likable character left on this show and is now just as bad as the quality now. If I can can even call it now. Wow pretty bad to see a childhood show die in such an insulting way. :/ Oh well, so long FOP. Seasons 1-5 are rolling in its grave. FOP has never been an absolute favorite of mine, mostly because honestly the humor can get old fast and outside of the magic stuff, the characters an be pretty obnoxious in all honesty.

Skeeter Mania True for that matter. Well on occasions a show can have a good or somewhat decent season 4. Also normally I don't agree with Enter, here's one rare case where I actually did. Also as of this response the 2nd episode of season 10 has premiered and Poof nor Sparky show up yet again, just wow. First the show buries its cast after season 7, now two main characters. :/ I would say Crocker is still likable because he's of one the show's biggest humor factors, he doesn't try to hard like Cosmo, but the main issue is that he's used way too much. Fairly Oddparents had a good season 4, Channel Chasers is part of that line up.

This episode could've worked... like... Chloe's reasoning for needing faries could be that people thought she was a perfect child with rich parents and everything she wants in life, yet she doesn't have friends. People would ignore and bully her for being perfect and not having friends, causing her to be miserable... tadah. How to rewrite a character with literally only two seconds of thought...
Remember the TV movie Channel Chasers? That was originally going to be the end of this series, and it would have been a really good one. Timmy learns that he can't stop himself from growing up, and would eventually have to say goodbye to Cosmo and Wanda, but in the end, he had two kids and sounded pretty happy. But nope, they had to keep this stupid show going. This use to be one of my favorite shows growing up, but just like with Spongebob, they've taken it too far. When there's a planned end for a show, end it.

honestly i watched this show as a kid and i still remember that timmy has to be still a kid (under 13) and also the child has to be miserable SHE DOESNT SEEM MISERABLE IN FACT SHES SUCCESSFUL, SO WHY HAVE HER HAVE HER HAVE FAIRIES
***** Steven Hillenburg won't be making an impact on the show until Season 10 which is still in production. Season 9 and parts of Season 8 are an improvement.
The sad part is that I think even modern day Spongebob is better than FOP now. At least with Spongebob, Steve Hillenburg has been trying to bring the magic back. Whatever magic this show had has long since been drained out.
+The Dragon Warlock Plus even before Hillenburg returned, the writers were showing overall signs of improvement despite some obvious flops (SpongeBob You're Fired, Pet Sitter Pat, etc.).
+The Dragon Warlock A good example of improvement in spongebob is Squid Plus One. Get this, it's a modern spongebob episode with squidward NOT getting tortured for no reason.
