Bought the Botaniq Addon after seeing some of your videos and haven't had a moment of regret. I use them in nearly every render I do now. Thanks for sharing this information, it has been difficult to find how to's for it.
thanks for the tutorial artwise i would like to point that, only the trees are moving, there are a lot more assets which would react to the wind like the curtains in the first one or the umbrellas in the third one. will really add to the realism... cheers!
Awesome stuff! Do you have any videos of blender to unreal workflow? I’ve tried to bring things in from blender to unreal for VR experiences but have run into so many issues. I saw your VR video and am wondering if you have any content that shows that workflow
I made a tutorial on how I achieve caustics with water in blender a few weeks ago actually! I should dive a bit more (no pun intended) into the water scenes to make a larger breakdown
This is Amazing! How can I transfer procedural objects with the textures from blender to Unreal Engine 5? Botaniq in this case is procedural. I’ve been playing around with it with the “send to Unreal” pipeline plug-in from Unreal and it works for objects with basic materials. All I have to do is connect the “baked” materials to the material instance in Unreal. But the “Procedural” is a bit hard. I got the “Quick Baker” add on from blender and it works baking the textures and deleting the original textures on the procedural one then applying the baked materials on there to export but sometimes it gets a bit janky. Is there a better and or quicker workflow? I’m open to all options free and paid
Turns out you can create your animated trees in blender 3.4 and then append them to Blender 4.0 with animation. I am using Botaniq version 6.7 which I don't think is the latest which might be the issue. I haven't figured out how to install Botaniq 7.0 yet because it downloads as a PAQ file?
