I think the purpose of this video is to learn to love your self. Even when your not gifted like others. Because we are no the same. Just love who you are.

Why is she so upset, them bees are straight up players. They probably pollinated every damn flower in that field.

This one still breaks my heart. It's so hard being surrounded by lovely people and feeling so ignored and ugly. Sometimes we take extremes that end up causing us more pain. I felt so bad for her...

What i think happens is she forced her self to bloom when she did that it made her petals fall off like how we force our body to make us look the way we what too only for us to fall apart sad so be yourself and never be mean to people because they look different don't let others tell you that you are ugly because you just have to wait tell you bloom because the people who look beautiful are probably fake but soon they will fall apart

I oddly thought it was going to end with the daisy being noticed by a human, and at first the daisy thinks they are there to admire her, but then the person proceeds to pull her out the ground and rip each pedal while saying,"She loves me, she loves me not." Which would have still been a dark ending, but still fitting.

I watched this just because my name's daisy..

Just imagine being a human who's walking through the field of grass, and suddenly a bee lands on you, you look at it and you just see a bee with 2 legs, 2 arms, hair and a chiseled chin.

Everyone is talking about how much the ending suprised them, and I'm just like Did nobody see the thumbnail?

This made me teary eyed a bit cause the story is, is that she wanted to be like all the other girls and experience someone they could love in their life. So they wait, and wait. And finally one day They bloom only to figure out when she tries people don’t want her. So she’s shrivels. And her pride dies

i remember watching this a few years back, and i just realized, that this scene actually uses music from Ori and the Blind Forest - 2:17 . i thought it was neat, since the OST is absolutely wonderful and compliments the animatic.

I believe that if she waited she would have been the most beautiful daisy. But she was impatient and ripped off the cap too early. Therefore the petals were not fully developed. And rotted off.

she's actually really pretty. And i dont like the cosmos flowers once bloomed. I liked their old hair

After a lot of years I think I understood the meaning of shot film. Everything in the right time. The flower was so desperate for a partner that she ended hurting herself for love and approval, she didn’t see and didn’t learn to wait, to give her own body love and time to bloom. We should understand that everybody is different and everyone has their own time to grow. Your friend may had their first kiss much sooner than you, but that doesn’t mean you’re less lovable or beautiful than them. Learn to wait, and learn to let your self bloom.

Don't force yourself to grow up when you're not ready, just because you feel like you need to fit in and start dating and stuff like that.

something i dont think i realised the first time i watched this was that like its not that the other flowers dont care about daisy. i remember my impression was that they made fun of her, but that didn't happen at all - they were EXTREMELY supportive when they all thought daisy bloomed, it doesnt seem like they were ever mean to her, and i think thats a really interesting way to go about this kind of story. a lot of people wouldve had the daisy have been bullied by the cosmos, but i think its stronger with her decision not being motivated by bullying; self destruction is not always a result of bullying after all. you don't need to be bullied to feel bad about not being on the same level as your peers. you don't need to be alone and hated to still dislike yourself. i dont think anything the cosmos could have done would have prevented this. daisy would probably still have become jealous and the daisy would probably still have hurt herself in the pursuit of the ideal she sees around her. everyone has petals but her, so obviously she has to have petals, too.

Most people: that was such a sad ending...!! Me: that was a *horrifying* ending...

i expected a happy ending... but the story is really sad and intresting in the same time.

When your a late bloomer, they dont want you. You suffer through it, and eventuelly you do blosom. But even if you turn out beautieful in the end, they will still resent you for your scars. Its kinda like mental illness. If your circumstances wearent good and you suffer as a result. Even far past that they will notice something is off. Even if you already overcame your troubbles, they still refuse you for the scars left behind. Wich is horrible, every battle worth fighting leaves scars behind. But those fortinate enough not to have to face battles like these will never be able to see beyond that. I for one think that scars are beautieful, they represent the fact that you became stronger than what caused them. But not everyone sees it that way. And moast of those who set the standart dont.

I love this short because it shows how no one grows at the same rate and you should never force yourself to do things too early and you should take your time, letting things come with time. personally when I was a kid i wanted so badly to grow up into this beautiful blond woman that my mom wanted to be but never was so she forced it onto me saying that's how a girl should look. so I forced myself to grow too fast i did a lot of things I regret but I know I cant change the past anymore

Moral of the story: Don't be Impatient

You know when I first saw the thumbnail I thought the story was that there was going to be a human who came up to the flowers and stared to pluck off all there petals only for a dandelion to survive do to the fact that she has no petals to pluck . But I guess wrong,

lesson learned: to tell people that every type of flower has a different timing to bloom. encourage them to be positive and patient, because in the end, they will become beautiful

For those who don't understand: she felt ugly amongst the flowers so when it was raining if you look closely, she forces her petals to open when they weren't ready and they soon fell off because she was too impatient and desperate to be loved, it's honestly very sad and i almost cried watching this. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong about this :)

Everyone just ignored her and shamed her for her differences and she was hurt because of that. It is truly a sad story and I almost cried because of how much I relate to that feeling of abandonment.

You can never force your body into doing what it isn't ready for. You have to wait, to have patience. Your body will do what it was suppose to do naturally. That's what I take from this video.

oh my goodness, I literally saw this so many years ago and just now it came back up on my recommended. I forgot how beautiful and bittersweet it was.

Violets are blue, Roses are red, The flower couldn't bloom, And now she's dead.

Oh my gosh, it's been so long since I last saw this! it really hits different the second time you watch to it after a few years.

That’s honestly devastating. She was so close to what she thought was perfect, and then it all came crashing down on her.

These days i kept feeling like i didn't fit in, i wasn't good enough, and i kept seeing my friends bloom and getting recognized, loved, becoming successful, while i was still there trying and hoping that others would see me that way too and that i would be finally happy and fulfilled like how i always wished. Then seeing others sparkle and being adored, whilst no matter how much i forced myself to seem perfect, no good outcome would come, and that made me envious and jealous over them. After, i realized how selfish I've become i started treating myself poorly, but that was not good either. Today, when i got this video in my recommendations, has made me realize that you should not compare yourself to others nor force yourself to be like them, otherwise even if you'll bloom more at first, that's not gonna last long especially since you're taking away a part that makes you as a whole and replace it with something that doesn't fit only so people will temporarily like you more, but it's always best to be patient and work on yourself, even if it takes long, and learn that you will always deserve self love no matter in what situation you are at the moment because if you give yourself the mindset that you'll only be happy when you get everything you need, then you will never be truly happy because self love and happiness within yourself should be there even at the darkest times. So, yeah. Do not force yourself to bloom only to fit in because you are taking away the most essential part that makes you.

She was a late bloomer, but she was sadly jealous of others and didn’t love her for herself, you don’t need someone else to love you for you to love yourself. She pulled on her “small” petals trying to make them big but sadly turned into disaster.

Im never going to look at a daisy the same way..

I remember this from three years ago but it wasn’t viral at the time I was so confused as to what was going on until I realized now it meant to be patient and don’t listen to what people say it’s a very important moral and if your in pain and you want to change because of people that isn’t good for your health... instead be you...

A small detail is that no one really bullied the daisy, in fact, they were happy to see her bloom and find love. The daisy was the only one who truly hated herself

I remember seeing this years ago, it was an absolute masterpiece, and still is!!

Reason why you never force things on yourself is because you can damage yourself real bad and who the hell cares about what you look like on the outside. What REALLY matters is what is on the inside that counts. It really crushes my heart just to see this poor beautiful Daisy go through such pain to catch some bee's attention for to be popular, that is not the way to go. Being who you are is what matters most. But yet people don't give a fuck, all they worry about are looks and popularity. When really all that fantasy can easily backfire when you least expect it to. In the end..you will learn it the hard way of how life really is...never judge someone because in the end they just might become more popular than you think.. That is why you should Never treat the person that loves you the most like shit. Why? Because in the end when your pethetic life turns out to be a bad future..and just when you go to that person who once cared for you will no longer be in your life. Believe me when I say I've learned that the hard way.. So please take this advice and give people a chance just like this Daisy. For those who will not will live the hard life. ( My apologies for the language. ) And a huge thumbs up to this beautifully animated film. I absolutely love the art work that was put into this animation.

I think I know why her petals fell off if you see you see her pulling her hair/petals that haven’t grown and they were not grown naturally and so she died so you know how you pull of all a flower’s petals it die so since she was pulling on them they were weak and so she wasn’t healthy and died to early the so the moral is that always love your self for yourself love your flaws and you traits!
