Thanks a lot for the tutorial ! Isn't there a way to instanciate via AN and then adjust instances placement and properties (scattering, scale, ...) via a painted vertex map or something like that rather than nodes ?
Hello! What's about an object with hundreds thousands of vertices? I've tried this method and it generates for so long time... Is there some other method?
If anyone else is like me and using Blender 2.79 on a slightly more vintage operating system :) , you might notice some of the nodes are missing even though he's also using 2.79 in this video. It appears as though he has (at least) Animation Nodes v2.0 installed. Just wanted to give anyone else using an older version a heads up that they're not crazy XD, they may just need to update Animation Nodes (however, I haven't been able to get 2.0 to work on my operating system at this point - so I just used some vector math to compensate for the missing functionality). Peace and God bless!
