Of all the crazy people out of the 9, Pyro and Soldier and Medic are probably the most crazy. Everyone else is sane, but different degrees. Heavy, Spy and Sniper are the most normal Engineer and Demoman are professionals in and of themselves, with Engineer making a robot hand to replace his lost one and Demoman knowing everything about explosives inside and out. Every character in TF2 have pretty deep relationships and stories Except for Soldier and Demoman, they are pretty much just there

i really hate when people get anal about that kinda language. they're relating it to something they know. you dont need to "defend the honor of TF2" by telling them something that most everyone is aware of at this point. and even if they don't, who cares?

@poyloos4834 not defending the "Honor" of TF2. I'm just pointing out that Medics design is so iconic that other games use him as a base to build off of. I understand he's comparing it to what he knows, but I thought it would be nice to point out just how much OW was a spiritual successor to TF2

I was confused why a single person would ever compare TF2 to Valorant, but I never watched enough Val to notice the similarities in the art styles. Overwatch is far more comparable to TF2 outta just about any game

Soldier, Pyro and Medic are certified insane. Spy and Sniper are assassins for hire. Scout is an a-hole who beats people to death. Engineer and Demoman and the Heavy are technically sane, but... well, the Engineer has a cold-blooded streak behind his "nice chill Texan gentleman" persona if you listem to his in-game voicelines when he dominates other mercs. The Heavy kills in protection of his family (which includes selling his mercenary skills for money to send home to Siberia). And the Demoman lost his eye as a boy in an accident involving black magic when he was apprenticed to a Scottish 9000 year old wizard and now has a cursed eyesocket... while his original eye became a floating monster which harasses the mercs every Halloween during Scream Fortress event.

@frostgem8013 true. Most of the mercs are very good at the very least pretending to be normal lol. With the exception of mainly Medic, Pyro, and Soldier.

Sadly, the first cheatbots have already been ´"adapted" by their vile bot sellers and invading Valve servers again.

@@GHOULSXO Sorry, but as you've seen with other comments, TF2 folks get annoyed by it, so I want to clear everything up so you can save yourself the trouble of dealing with those folks. Another guy who reacted to TF2 got the same treatment, so don't let it get to you, it's just how things are.

Although if you ask me tf2 is still the better and more popular game and it's disappointing since overwatch had the potential only for Blizzard to fumble the bag so bad that it's the worst rated game on steam and worst rated game in general, truly nothing will ever be better than tf2 when it comes to team based hero shooters which truly is what I fear that this genre of gaming would be very limited and become slept on.

I know it’s a simple misunderstanding but that pisses me off the same as “Oh my god it’s Master Chief from Fortnite!” They don’t know any better, but MAN is it irritating.
