You gotta check out other famous tf2 animations, like End of the Line, Expiration Date, Team Neighbourhood chronicles (gets higher quality with each episode) and maybe Emesis Blue
@@WhyMike Dude, WATCH EMESIS BLUE. It is a masterpiece made using the same software they used to make expiration date and meet the team vidoes. It's a horror movie, clocking at around 1 HOUR AND 48 MINUTES of length, so it'll be nice to watch, since you've been watching FNAF content recently
My favorite thing about watching people react to tf2 is when they slowly realize that none of them are sane. Edit: wow this popped off more than I thought. YES, while some of them are better at hiding their insanity more than others, I still argue that none of them are fully sane. Haven’t you seen the conditions they work in? Don’t y’all realize how much they all enjoy killing?? “Heavy is sane,” yeah but he made an entire bed for his gun (definitely a more tame thing compared to others, but he still enjoys killing just as much as the rest of them). “Spy is sane,” yeah but don’t you remember the look he gave when he saw the base nearly explode in expiration date? He gave a big ol’ grin and ran towards the bread monster to help out while Scout talked to Pauling. None of them are fully sane.
Fun fact: The Scout is 1 out of a family of 10 brothers. The reason why he's so fast is because he wanted to get to the fight first before his brothers did (whatever fight it was).
It's 133% speed, not 150%. In conclusion, your number of brothers to train towards inhuman speeds are two too many for the speeds he actually achieved.
Fun facts: The VA for Heavy and Demoman is the same guy. Outside of the promos, the world of TF2 had no official lore for the longest time. In the wake of the immense popularity of the Meet the Team videos Valve would begin to flesh out the universe the characters existed in years after the game had been up and running to much fan acclaim. The characters exist in an alternative universe where mercenary work is the norm and things tend to lean towards the absurd and surreal with people like William Shakespearaclese, the worlds best playwright and warrior to have ever lived, and mercenary Abraham Lincoln. After Meet the Medic was released the game was altered with a new update. When a character receives damage from an explosive source that has sufficient overkill, then instead of just dying, a character will explode into "gibs". In the case of the Scout, there is a very small chance that when gibbed, a bird will fly out of the corpse. Similarly after Meet the Spy was released, the model for the Blu Sniper was altered to include a scar along his cheek indicative of the knife battle Sniper and Spy have in the cinematic. Only the Blu sniper received this change.
'mon petite cho fleur' literally translates as 'my little cauliflower'. Its a French term of endearment which means 'my little darling'. Sort of like if you called someone you love 'pumpkin' or something like that:)
@@NDScalio "Ma petite" is how the Spy says it in the short but from what I have found that is incorrect French. Cho-fleur is masculine so it always requires a 'mon' no matter if the person you are talking about is a women or not.
French speaker here, it's "mon petit chou-fleur" but I've never heard anyone say that. I've only heard people say "mon chou" which literally translates to "my cabbage"
as a Frenchman I wanted to say in reality this expression does not exist. that's a mixture of two expressions " mon chou" who basically more used for men and "ma petite fleur" who's not very used. I think they confused it with the expression "mon petit chou à la crême" who's used to describe a nice person.
@@sirparkxx1835 Idk midline/frontline Huntsman Sniper was always pretty fun to me. People underestimate the damage output hard because they never expect to see a Sniper that close to the action
27:07 best part of that line is that it completes two different sentences “He could be you, he could be me, he could even be…right behind you” “Who’s ready to go find this spy? Right behind you”
As cool as that sounds, it's not strictly true that that's what spy was gonna say. Maybe it's "it could be you, it could be me, it could even be you" - referring to scout (since he was standing in the middle, behind soldier, and spy looked in that direction), and was shot in the face by soldier just before he was gonna unknowingly point to the actual red spy, which is hilariously ironic
It sounds so dumb "He could be you! He could be me! He could EVEN be right behind you" He talks about he can disguise as anyone and he just change to he can be right behind you?
@@average-art3222one it's still finger shape but also we shouldn't question realistic tf2 as this is the same universe where a man is a walking distillery
@@rudysarmiento8700while also said walking distillery man has a haunted eye socket which each time they try to put it a new eye, turns into a monster on Halloween.
I get unreasonably bothered when people watch the video someone made that puts them all in order of class selection since you really don't get the same experience as watching them in order of release date.
@@bubbykins4864 I was gonna say there's at least four minimum, because of demoman's parents but then I remember they aren't cyclops they're just blind lol, then at least two monsters exist minimum.
you know the funniest part? in the tf2 comics, that one guy who is Saxton Hale's rival he actually refers to the zoo as a Tsu, and that's when you put two and two together, with Abraham Lincoln being the inventor of the rocket jump, Shakespeare being jacked, everything soldier said was 100% reasonable in universe.
@@tonyshum5569 I don't know. In universe, did Sun Tzu really buy 2 of every animal with his fight money and beat the crap out of them? I don't think everything Soldier says necessarily makes sense.
List of characters from least to most insane IMO: - Heavy - Spy - Sniper - Demoman - Scout - Engineer - Pyro - Medic - Soldier Characters from smartest to dumbest (again, IMO): Very intelligent: - Engineer - Medic - Heavy Intelligent in their profession or street smarts: - Demoman - Spy - Pyro - Sniper - Scout Idiot: - Soldier
Are you familiar with the Art of War? It was written by Sun Tzu and I believe is still highly regarded and referenced in military circles to this day. (I didn't want to assume, but since you looked him up thought it'd be relevant to mention). I believe it deals with some very fundamental principles of espionage, logistics and warfare so it may never truly become outdated.
i definitely need read it all my life people talk about him, but after making this video ive learnt something new about him cant lie i always thought the art of war was about making money loool
@@WhyMike I think you might be thinking 'The Art of the Deal' which, credit where it's due, gets people thinking that a brilliant strategist wrote it. And that's all I'll say about that. >.>
My dad always talked about Sun Tzu. Talked about how modern militaries stilll read his stuff to this day. Apparently hes a real famous philosopher in that domain.
I find it funny cus Spy says "Yipee-kaiyay my dead illiterate friend" to the Engineer when you kill him as spy, but in reality, the Engineer guy has like 11 PHD's lmfaoo. Valve made sure Spy was as French as possible lmfao.
there is a cosmetic item in the game called pyrovision goggles that when equipped replaces map textures for slightly more cutesy ones and the flamethrower fire for raibows or bubbles or both i don't remember.
The demoman wasn't actually swearing, he was revealing classified info about the Loch Ness Monster, so they had to bleep it out. I'm not even kidding, that's the joke. :D
Fun fact about Soldier: He was *NEVER* actually in the Army, but not for a lack of trying; he desperately wanted to fight in WW2, but was rejected by _every single branch_ of the US Army for being an actual fucking _lunatic._ So, he trained himself to fight, bought his own plane ticket to Europe, and started slaughtering Nazis; during this time, he also awarded himself numerous "medals" (That he himself made). He didn't stop until _1949,_ when someone finally got through to him and made him realize the war was over. When he's "off-duty", he stays in a tiny apartment, doing push-ups, eating ribs and army surplus rations, and reading a plethora of "Guns & Haircuts" magazines. Although, it's implied Soldier can't read, so maybe he just likes to look at the pretty pictures in said magazines :P
The comics are more wild, ever seen soldier naked and covered in honey? And did you know sniper is from new zealand and how new zealand is basically a futuristic atlantis under the ocean? You will if you read the official comics.
@@WhyMike He's very smart, i wouldn't say he's the smartest, but if i were to rank them it would probably be -engineer -medic -heavy or spy -spy or heavy -sniper and the rest can hardly be ranked they are all equally stupid -soldier at the very bottom
One tragic not so fun fact: A lot of soldiers armed with flamethrowers in the second World War and Vietnam came back home seriously traumatized and I mean way beyond most of their brothers in arms! This flamer-guys watched closely, when ever human beings were burned alive. Wouldn't surprise me if most of them went to a whole different world in their heads in order to escape this haunting images. That might very well be the blue print for our dear PYRO here.
I honestly believe on some level that the Pyro is at least on some level aware of his mental state, and actively indulges in this mental state. The other choice would be acknowledging he burns people alive for a living.
Fun fact demoman drinks so much that when he's given normal food and water his body thinks it's being poisoned and his body makes its own alcohol out of bone marrow
The reason Soldier is dumb af is becouse the water in the place they live in apparently has lead so everyone drank water from bottles. And he didnt Rest in peace Rick May
According to legend, for the Meet the Sandvich bit, the voice actors actually forgot their lines and had to adlib everything. Also yes, every one of those characters is crazy, except Spy and Heavy. Heavy doesn't speak English as his first language, so that's why he sounds the way he does.
Idk if this is a real fact but, some people said that Pyro is a nice person and the goggles he wears on his masks were making him hallucinate to kill people
4:26 granted Soldier has Lead poisoning. Tho most ppl act like they have too now. Always fact check, gang Also someone recently pointed out that “and from that day forward it was called a zoo” is a play on Tzu and not just an extra joke, it relates to the Sun Tzu speech. Amazing writers, love it
Fun fact: the guy who voices Heavy also voices Demoman. Spy and Pyro share a voice actor as well. The best part is, the VAs are still active with the fan base to this day
Two things. 1)Overwatch can try all it wants but it will never be as good as TF2, Tf2 is better IN EVER WAY. 2) In case you didn't know it was also Sun Tzu that wrote a very well known book called the art of war. Heard it's good but honestly I never read it myself. I mean to fix that one day.
@@nosu5530 Voice chat is free in TF2 and chat only requires you to drop 5$ once which is a solid way of dealing with bots because they will be unable to spam chat unless the cunt that made the bot pays money.Bots aren't much of an issue. Skill gap, simply skill issue, just get good. Free time? What do you mean?? They are both something you can do in your free time.
@@nosu5530 I’ll give you the bots and F2P chat issue since it is still a problem. As for pass time I guess but it can be fun. The lack of F2P chat, and team synergy in the casual scene (or what’s left of it) can cause problems in the meta and fun factor. But it can be really fun if you meet another team who understands what synergy. Skill Gaps for new players doesn’t really work as an issue since it can also be applied to overwatch. You could even argue that it has a bigger problem in that regard since it has way more characters than TF2 meaning the meta is a lot harder to understand. Let’s also not ignore overwatch 2’s issues. A dedicated PVE mode isn’t in the game. I know the story mode is PVE but story mode and PVE are different things. It’s also behind a paywall, which may require you to buy the missions in batches which doesn’t sound like a good idea. There also isn’t much reason to replay those missions. Let’s also not forget that most of the promises and goals for PVE in overwatch weren’t even met. Meanwhile the Man vs machine mode in TF2 already had most of the promises and goals overwatch 2 was supposed to have when the mode launched.
Yet another youtuber watches the wrong order of the videos. Everybody wants to use the one single youtube video of them all, but that has them in *the order of the classes on the class select screen* and not the *release order*. It's so stupid. Meet The Heavy is supposed to be first. Every time I see one of these and the first one is Scout, I know the tone and the vibe and everything are all going to be off because Meet The Pyro comes before Meet the Heavy.
Wouldn't it being in the order based off the game make it more "correct"? Plus this is just the order they're compiled on the channel so it's not really wrong either (/nm)
