i had it 2021 but i had a defect and switched to flare 2, but i can say the boost had a little more bass, but i added it with soundcore app with +2db on my flare 2.

And this would be the version with usb c charging? If so, have you tried the equalizer within the soundcore app?

No this one is the older version not using usb C also not recognizable on the app

You need to open it from the bottom,you have to separate to see the screws you have to use something like knife but not sharp knife because the buttom cover is glued
