@DrJamesGill Another Classic! You have no idea the amount of patients you have treated by making such videos by treating their anxiety and bringing them calm. Thanks doc. Gratitude is all I can give.
Great to watch this and looking forward to the deep dive! I have poor dorsiflexion in my left foot after dislocating it and breaking my fibula a few years ago. Have been noticing lower-right back and hip pain more often recently which I can only assume is connected somehow as there are definitely muscular differences between my legs since the break. Seeing this is another prompt for me to go and seek an exam to see if anything can be done to help improve it, thanks!
no le entiendo porque hablo español y ni se lo q haces amigo pero me gustan mucho tus videos, hay unos muy cosquillosos eres bueno para asmr,te sigo por eso
I think that he should have kept it in. I feel like we never get to see any real patient reactions in the videos, it always tends to be "X is bothering me" (obviously just for the video) but we never see the tests producing a result that a Dr would be looking for.
We did actually find and deal with an unexpected issue on the shoulder deep dive Shoulder Exam - Orthopaedic Shoulder OSCE - Clinical Skills Revision - Dr Gill ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ONxIQ0kLn2s.html
To some degree I do wonder how much the exam does when it ends with "we'll need a scan" anyway. I'm a bit of a perfectionist at work so I imagine if I were a doctor, I would want the exam AND the scan too, but I could see why some might do only a basic exam for the sake of time if there's already hints of the issue just from the obvious symptoms and the scan being very likely in any case.
@@DrJamesGillI’m seeing a foot doc for the first time soon for ankle joint swelling and limited mobility pointing my entire foot like I did in dance years ago. I don’t want an MRI unless I have to. Are ultrasounds usually standard for the first look? I hope so.
Thank you for pointing this out! Just searched up that article on CNN, nice overview of ASMR really. Also, he's mainstream now, it's all over, I'm outta here :P /s
I don't know how to say this, but his feet look like they're shaped like hands. Disclaimer: I'm saying this in a neutral, purely observational, tone of voice, or even positive. Cause actually (and i hope that you, boy in the video, see this and smile or something) my first thought when the feet appeared was "wow! Nice feet!" :)) so, yeah, you have nice feet :)) and i hope you have a super awesome and fulfiling day :))
His extensors seen to be hypertonic. Extensor hallucis & Digitorums seem to be tugging tightly on his toes maybe causes that discomfort or rigidness. His toes look like they are really being pulled upward
Here you go. We did it a few weeks ago 😊 What Causes Plantar Fasciitis - Foot Anatomy - Dr Gill ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aXx6NfBWDSs.html
I wish it was that quick to get to physio 😂 I’ve had a back problem for 18 months where I’m unable to work as my day to day life is extremely difficult because of it and it took about 2 or 3 month just for them to refer me to physio. This dude got tiniest bit of foot pain and gets referred straight away 😂 only just the other day did physio turn round and say we’re referring you to MSK (musculoskeletal triage unit). Yeah I should have been referred to them months ago 🙄
Instead of showing someone with healthy feet you need to show someone with unhealthy feet and then tell him how to fix it I don’t do any good to show healthy feet
I always wash up well if I'm going to see the doctor or dentist, but I'm not sure if it'd slip my mind to scrub EXTRA before the doc asks if I'll help make a medical exam demo video :)
