I went through and listened to this interview twice and it really hits home as to what or who has the drive to bring the magical ceremony that they call Music. Ann has without a doubt, the greatest voice bar none, along with Nancy's ability to play the music on your new play place. Each and every time they begin the next song a smile would appear upon thier faces and the games would begin. Nothing has changed with them.
I SOOOOO agree with ya there DarkCK. It has been long over due. The pure strength they pour into thier music fills the eyes of the younger Generation of musicians. They all want to be Ann or Nancy.. I listen to thier vids of sounds and I learn over and over the reason I love your band. You grace Seattle with a tour stop to share what new sounds you have picked up along with the new toons. You have been graced by the Gods.
Vaskylark please do not despair! You have brothers and sisters that live among you! They are called givers or people who care. Surround yourself with positive energy. But, know yourself first. Don't criticize and judge people in your inner circle. You have to be a giver to attract givers. But, beware of the takers, or people that posses negative energy. These are the people that want to manipulate and control you and tell you that they are your friend. Can you say narcissists? Take your time, enjoy every minute of your life! As someone once told me " Life is very short. And there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend. "
I fell in love with heart when I was about sixteen years old, 30 something years later at 52 years old I still listen to heart. They are my favorite band in the world, I've always had a crush for ann, even today"I guess the chemistry or something, she is a talented gift, well actually both of them is a gift. God bless
Ann and Nancy are too good for this show. The "hostesses" are just too prodding and contentious, especially that last question. We all know the story behind 'Barracuda' by now, but that broad just had to go for a cingeworthy moment to get buzz.
I always hear about all of these horrible men, who stand in the way of women's success, but in reality, most of the men that "keep them from success" are just people who have personal beliefs that exclude women doing certain things. They aren't keeping them from success, they just aren't supporting them, because of personal feelings and beliefs. It would be like me trying to set up a Bar -B -Cue restaurant, in Iran. People would not "prevent me form success" they would just not patronize my restaurant, because I served meat they did not believe in eating.
No, it's true. Their first record label started the rumor by placing that innuendo in a print ad featuring a picture of the sisters to boost sales, without conferring with the Wilson sisters about it first.
