Ann Wilson is the best female voice to ever grace the airwaves. She doesn't "cover" songs. She turns them into something even more magnificent than the original. There's no one else who can do that so consistently.
I don’t know she is definitely a legend and a pioneer off rock and roll but I think voices like Florence welsh, Stevie nicks, Tracy Chapman ,joni Mitchell, Definitely are right up there with her

The love of my life passed away 7/12/21. I just found this version. Ann Wilson puts so much emotion in her voice and had me crying like a child. It's hard to listen to but somehow feels good like she's speaking for me to Lois. I can't explain what this means to me. Breaks my heart and kinda warns it at the same time. I miss her so.

Thank you for doing a cover of this iconic Freddie Mercury classic, Ann! You do a unique version that is certainly your touch on it! This song still brings back amazing memories of the several Queen concerts I attended... listening to Freddie serenade tens of thousands of us fans in each stadium with this song, all the while he loved for us... and encouraged us... to sing along with him!! It, of course, became known to the World outside of us Queen fans that he wrote this song for his one true love, Mary... so, every time I heard him sing it... I would have goosebumps from head to toe and it would always bring tears to my eyes of how beautiful the tragic love song really was. A love song that only he and Mary only knew. Again... thank you for bringing back those goosebumps, my friend. Your voice... as did Freddie's... has always brought these amazing feelings from deep inside my heart and always made them become visible with these strange bumps up and down our arms. You are loved, Ann... and I hope to see you & Nancy back together on stage again SOON!!
