I was having a big time crush! I am in my 30s now and still.. when I see him in this movie, same feeling. Still one of the most romantic of all time to me, and so underrated! Jodie Foster and him were amazing. Try watching The Replacement Killers, that's also Chow Yun Fatt in his prime if you ask me 😁
He is nearly 70 now. Haha. I first time crush him by this movie and then I searched and watched all of his movies. He is not only good in action movies but also good in romance. I like action movie "the killer" the most. In romance movies, I like Anna and the King and An autrum's tale. The lost romance is also good. My personal point of view. 😊 So Sad that now he is old and not active in acting industry but enough.

Thank you uploader! Omg... I watched this when I was just in my teens, absorbing all the romantic feelings so much from this movie. Jodie Foster and Chow Yun Fatt were brilliant actors! You could just feel them.. their expressions, energy, all of it. And I can't help but having a big crush over Chow Yun Fatt (he was one of the most famous HK actors then, legend now!). He's got this charm about him and his sweet smile. I remember getting really frustrated that they can't just be together and he didn't get to kiss her at least 😭😭😭🤣🤣 But the cultural differences, the different level of one could express love and admiration, all of that makes this one of the most romantic movie of all time for me - even in my 30s now! And I love this song! I hope they will remaster this movie!

This movie is so amazingly beautiful! From all of the gorgeous landscapes and scenery it was filmed in, and then everyone who was chosen to play their rolls, then top it off with a beautiful score that enhances whatever scenes they're in! And it doesn't feel that it lasts as long as it does due to it being so captivating! I would highly recommend this masterpiece to anyone!
