Saw her yesterday on reruns of The Jimmy Dean show. Not only did goosebumps populate my arms....tears swelled up in my eyes. I’m a blues rock guitarists, but I know greatness when I hear it. This was so moving!
Absolutely beautiful, despite the crass orchestra arrangement. Moffo had a heavenly voice, and this rendition is right up there with Leontyne Price’s legendary recording.
