What you did here with the comparison between Ann and Marianna and the love they have for Anne, and how they accepted or rejected all of what that meant was beautiful. The song was an excellent choice and you really show a thoughtful and respectful care for the material you used. Thank you ever so much for sharing with all of us.

I’m working on a historical novel at the moment (set early 1900s) with a lesbian protagonist (her girlfriend is bi) and this video really inspires me and makes me feel like I have a duty to the gay community to finish the novel (I’ve been working on it on and off for about 9 years).

I did some research and found out that Ann Walker struggled with her mental health for a very long time and was admitted to an asylum 3 years after Anne Lister died during their travels together after 6 years of marriage. Ann did eventually leave the asylum, however. I also found out their marriage wasn't happy due to her mental health issues, as well as Anne Lister's commanding personality and control over Ann Walker's fortune. It was a very different, difficult era. When we see them happy on Gentleman Jack, we see them at their best.

You did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed watching it.
