“I’m a novelist fundamentally and I love writing novels. So, I used truth as the basis for my story.”
Award-winning author Anne Berest appeared at the Toronto Reference Library's Atrium to discuss her new work of autofiction, The Postcard, with Elizabeth Renzetti. Accompanied by French language interpreter Awa Dembele-Yeno.
This author talk was generously supported by Consulat général de France à Toronto.

This introduction almost looks like the view. The author relinquishes that this book is based on true facts. The postcard is among the most acclaimed and beloved French novels of recent years. Luminous and gripping to very last page, it is an enthralling investigation into family secrets. When I notices the cover the female model looked like a person I don't like, but the book isn't about her it is about family secrets, I would rate this book a 10 1/2.

That is not a "model" on the cover; surely you know that the picture on the cover is Noémie.
