Years ago, after I graduated Army basic training, I was traveling home on leave and I met her at an airport. She seen that I was in uniform so she came up to me to thank me for my service. Then she offered to pay for me to have dinner at one of the nice restaurants in the terminal. She definitely seemed like a genuinely nice person.

Wearing only shorts and a bra, she then rang the bell everywhere and said that she urgently needed a shower. After drinking a glass of water and taking a shower, Heche suggested watching a movie. The residents became nervous when she made no move to leave the house. They called the police . Heche then explains to them that she would take everyone to heaven in a spaceship. People are sympathetic because of the back story. Her father raped her repeatedly and then died of AIDS. her brother died after that by driving into a tree at high speed. She thinks it was suicide. She struggled from the abuse of her father. So people feel sorry that she struggled to live with the trauma of that abuse. What's crazy about the story is that she visited that hair dresser at 10:30 in VEnice and then got into three accidents just 30 minutes later. The hairdresser claimed that she wasn't drunk. Was he lying? Was he trying to protect himself? How could she go from sober to completed wasted in 30 minutes? It almost seems like she was demon possessed. I do think, Anne's family, being rich, should help this woman get another place to live, & pay for it to be furnished too. Sorry, but Anne was selfish. There are many people who suffer from drug & alcohol addiction, & they don't do this kind of thing. Anne put many lives at risk. I'm thankful that lady was in her back garden, & her & her two dogs, & another small pet got out safely. Because Anne was an actress, she has everyone pouring out sympathy. Imagine if an ordinary person did it? I've had a hard, traumatic life, with abuse involved. But I've never done anything that could have hurt others. These people are rich, & have access to the best doctors, treatment centres. Many people do not have that opportunity. I'm going to be straight & tell you. I'm saved, I'm a Christian. Mike the GIV, Thanks for covering this story with compassion. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the women who rented that house. How has her life changed. I pray she gets the help she is going to need to get over the tragedy that occurred right in front of her. I pray that the good samaratian who rushed into to help as well as the first responders receive the care they need to get through this tregedy. My heart goes out Ann's children; I'm not sure what age they are, but, it is not easy to lose a mother, no matter their age. And I hope and pray that each of us who have mental health issues, or demons, are able to get the help they need.

My neighbors garage got severely damaged by a car. Home owners insurance paid my neighbor to rebuild garage. I’m sure insurance company will pay homeowner for temporary lodging, etc. She’s going to have a hard time finding a similar house in that neighborhood. Most houses in that area are bought as tear downs due to land value and a larger state of the art house is built in its place.

I've known this to happen 2 other times, once to our friends. The drunk guy landed in their garage (through a wall) but wasn't badly hurt (go figure). If you have a home at the top of a "T" intersection, especially in front of a long, straight road, consider some sort of bollard. Raised, concrete flower beds would be effective and pretty.

EXTRA INFO: 1. One of the homeowners said she went down his street three times at a high rate of speed and some of his neighbors were even motioning her to slow down. 2. Also, she had a bottle of Vodka in the front seat of her car (there’s a photo of her in her car taken after the first accident - striking the apartment garage. You can see the bottle under the dashboard). Then again, they are also reporting she had no alcohol in her systems. The guys at the apartment complex tried to keep her there to get her help, but she literally screeched off and raced away again. 3. When she was a teenager, her 18 year old brother died in a car accident and this always bothered Anne. She thought it was a suicide. Others in her family firmly said “Absolutely not”. That she, too, died in a car accident is very eerie. Her brother’s car struck a tree and she drove over some trees before striking the house. 4. Anne had two brothers and two sisters. She lost her baby brother very early in his life, then her other brother died in a car accident, and one of her sisters died of cancer. The only sibling left is her other sister who was estranged. Anne’s mother is still alive with only one of her five children alive. I can’t imagine her heartbreak. My question is this: what was in her system that made her suddenly rip the sheet off and sit up in the gurney before they put her in the ambulance? I’m assuming the cocaine, but I wonder if there could have been a medical reason as well. When she sat up on that gurney, even the reporter covering it on live TV was shocked! Really sad this happened. I pray for the family and the woman in the house who lost everything, facing PTSD from this incident. RIP Anne Heche. I hope your pain has been washed away and you are in peace at last. Thank you for doing this video, Mike. She was too young to die, and like you and thousands of others, her work touched my heart and she will be missed.

@@tinap.4285 an adrenaline surge from the speed made her sit up is my guess. A driver who had been doing bad dope slammed into my parked car without braking, going about 45 (what they wrote in FD report), pushed my car into the house nextdoor, knocking it off the foundation, he took out chainlink fences, stopped in the next yard down, after crushing a big garbage can! When I ran out my house to his car, he said someone was chasing him. I think she, anne, might have been in a god-complex-i'm-indestructable-manic-episode, as well.
