loosen up the two motor mounts and tighten the brace. it will locate the motor mounts and then they can be tightened down

The front Z motors on this build are each bolted into two of the lower extrusions, the front extrusion and one side extrusion, which are at 90 degrees to each other. Consequently, loosening the bolts doesn't help to locate the motors. The K3 design team updated the brace part to make those screw holes wider, giving the brace part more play, and that worked well for me.

Steph this build is coming along very nicely sir. As always appreciate you sharing. Also the audio is super nice and clean. Just a thought for a better fit for the Z motors. what if you loosen both left and right motors and tighten the middle brace and then tighten them together to the frame? I have not build one so i cant say for sure, but would be an easy try.

The way these motor assemblies mount to two frame edges that are perpendicular to each other doesn't give the builder much room for play. As the motor assemblies can't move from their current position, it's the middle purple brace that needs updating, IMHO.
