After watching arcane and seeing how dark Jinx's origin is i must say. Annie's origin is also pretty dark.

And here she is in the "I accidentally killed my dad" club with Powder. Hope they meet one day in the cinematic universe Riot is planning on. I can totally see a scene where adult jinx learns annies story and feels empathy for the first time in a long while.

I hope after arcane, Annie could also have her own series. Together with other champions, of course.

Man, this is why I feel so much for Annie and Powder. They both just wanted a family's love and acceptance, but ended up getting their family killed accidentally - seen as a monster, a jinx.

I want this to see in Arcane: The Origin of Annie. Tragic, beautiful and poetic.

Tibbers is a gift by Annies mom. She loved her a lot and felt safe in the family or her, her mom and her dad. When her mom died, her father found this new wife and her step- or halfsister. In the second drawing you can clearly see, how annie doesnt feel secure in the house and like an equal family member. Since she draws her burried mom, I believe she doesnt accept the new family constellation and misses her mom a lot. Thats why tibbers, something that connects her to her mom, is so important to her, since it closes a gap which her mom left inside her, when she died. He now is her symbol of hope, strength, safety and acceptance. He is her best friend. In the last picture you can clearly see, how she wants the people she loves all back together, and how the new family members dont accept her inner feelings and wish for this. That's the problem this whole story is based on ❤

"I got you, firefly." The delivery on that, so breathless, so desperate, so "I'm trying to comfort you despite everything." It had me nearly in tears.

Such a sad story - I love the artists of this game. They really bring out the emotions.

The animation is gorgeous and the whole thing is just fantastically done. Annie was the first champion I played a lot and the one I got my first kill on a decade a go. To see her get such an artful expansion from a video game character to a real one is something special to me. Thanks riot!

I wish the dress here is what Annie wore in game. I know it's old but it could use an update from the modern look she has. The fact the cinematic gives more emotion to Annie here than in game. We don't really have a lot of it because she hides it well after being abused by her stepmother

Annie's powers are so emotion-driven, and she's so young, she hasn't learned how to control her emotions yet. The mom's attitude towards Annie and Daisy didn't help either. So tragic.

I would really love to see Annie's story in Arcane in the future.

Going through horrible depression now, and an equally horrible childhood, this just rips my heart to shreds. "Why Annie?" She never meant to do anything wrong. She cannot control her feelings. When she comes to in her room with flames around her, she has no idea. I don't know how many times I've woken up surrounded by horrible things I've done while angry. Except, I never had someone to console me, or save me. I'm just filled with white hot rage. This video moves me so much.

This is the Best Story that LoL ever Had! It needs more attention.

At the very end of the story, when she was protected by Tibbers, it's like Annie finally knew she wasn't going to be alone. Tibbers is her family and protector. And seeing Annie hug her little bear in such a relief makes me want to cry. It's like when she hugs that little bear, she knew she wasn't alone. She has Tibbers and Tibbers has her.

I don't play LoL, I don't know the character, but this short story had me tearing up... Great artstyle too.

God, this cinematic just rips your heart out and puts it in a blender..... Doesn't help that each frame is a beautiful piece of artwork. Really messes with your emotions, just like any masterpiece. Anybody watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas? That's another ending that really sticks with you.
