I don't understand the need for the hate on this girl, she's obviously extremely talented and isn't too old to play Annie she's younger then the original was and has an incredible voice
Been to see Annie tonight believe I saw Ruby Stokes as Annie, thought she was absolutely brilliant ,her parents should be so proud of her, thoroughly deserved to come on last to take a bow she was the star of the show
Never heard a West end Annie sing or anything..her voice is so beautiful!! I love the sweet voice cause that's what I imagine as Annie singing this song, nice and sweet, not loud and tough.
She goes to my school, and though we aren't exactly friend due to age difference and such, everyone through the school says she's one of the nicest girls here.
I went to see this on the 31st of may,it's incredible amazing musical scenes and the kids were so talented and as a young actress myself (well at acting school) inspired me and encourages me to audition for west end shows like this
I'm going to see Annie in September. I've wanted to see it since I was little, so I bought myself tickets for my birthday and I'm finally going when the show comes to my hometown.
Lottie Whelsh wait, I'm in Ruby's school and she's in year 7. She's Peter Pan in our school play !!! I don't know you what year are you in and are you in Mrs haters class???
Lottie Whelsh tell Ruby that I saw the show and she rocks Ask her if i could get something sighned from her. If she could could the message be The sun will come out tomorrow. From Ruby. Also, i am her biggest fan!😘😘😘 Thx
Ellie Smith that’s quite rude! The Awesome Sea Rabbits, you can do anything you dream! Just work hard, and with determination you WILL succeed. Don’t let ruddy Mc Snooders get ya down! ❤️
Ellie Smith lol you must be pretty self conscious is you have to bring someone down like that! How do you think all of these people got on the West End/Broadway? They auditioned and worked extremely hard! Just because you’re clearly not determined enough doesn’t mean that others aren’t!
AnnieTheMusical Fan Glad to hear she gets it right later. Would doubt very much it's her first time to sing it - months of preparation and vocal rehearsal go into these shows before a full dress rehearsal :-)
Ummm the wig is amazing it meant to be messy not tidy because she was living in the orphanage and miss hanngian who run the orphanage make annie and other orphans work
Well, I'm American. I remember how when Broadway started doing Matilda, they trained the American girls playing Matilda to sing/speak in a British accent. So I always wondered if the British girls who played Annie at West End were trained to do an American accent. I figured they probably were. And yeah, I could definitely tell that this girl isn't actually American and that the accent isn't natural. But a lot of the American Matildas didn't have great British accents either. It's hard to imitate an accent, especially if you're a kid! So I think she still did a good job for being so young.
