Not to mention he drives far too long stints with little rest or stops. It's been mentioned many times before and Sam glosses over it saying he's "used to it "- but there are reasons why pro drivers from hgv to motorsport are all time limited
I have a few mates with Artura's, of course they have been delivered! Stop being so harsh on one of the few British manufacturers left. They are more complimentary to McLaren in the USA than the UK. Regarding RR, sounds like he went for a downshift on the video and not an upshift. Easily done with the dual purpose paddles.
Saw a group of 5 992 GT3 / GT3 RS’s, all UK plates, driving to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport today, looked absolutely baller driving as a convoy all together. One had a plate T27 NUR. Probably some guys who visited the Ring as well maybe Tony knows them.
I think you guys mean negative camber not toe-in. 😄 It’s negative camber that makes the car way more fidgety and makes it tramline more. Toe does affect things but it’s nowhere near as noticeable as running a load of negative camber.
Sound system is probably the same in the S3, Sonos probably paid Audi more money to have their name the system. Most of the high end systems come from two or three suppliers and its just individual tuning by the OEM from there and slap on a high end brand name.
When and where we can get tickts for the live event in austria ? And would it be possible for you to share the route where the tour happens, after the tour of course ?
Be careful in Austria, if you go 50km over the speedlimit, its your car taken off you and unless its company registered, it will be sold at auction, you don't get a penny and also a big fine.
Wow Tony! I seem to have the exact same fidgety finger movements as you demonstrated throughout the video. As a reluctantingly self confessed curmudgeon, I am amused we both appear to have these same two behaviors 😂 Cheers Mate!
When doing aerobatics in gliders (pulling big G), I find if I don't keep my head position static (pressed back against the headrest, eyes straight ahead) I get nauseous, particularly if I bend my head forwards to look at the instruments, it's worse than vertigo.
Hi Sam - your mic is too close to your face, you can hear it in the audio. Look at some of the top podcasts and the mic is about a foot away from their face, to avoid any audio distortion/clipping etc.
Couldn’t agree with you more about the Kuga Sam. I’ve been forced into one as a company car for the last 2 years. Have to say everything about it is total crap. I drive 35000 a year and have done so for the last 30 years and this is by far the worst car I ever ever had
Can I get a free spot for spotting a spelling mistake on the website. Or do the A6s go so fast on Germany they send you back in time? Day 3 of the trip takes you further south, through Germany. We will pass along a few unrestricted sections of the Autobahn, offering that quite unique experience of being past by a diesel A6 going 300km/h.
Would be happy to join someone if they want to share costs/would let me drive. Can share my fairly broad international road trip and Nurburgring experience with anyone interested.
