@@yourfather5324 Yes i understood your comment was sarcastic so i commented another sarcastic comment. It was not to call u stupid it was just sarcastic. And yes. I understood that u were a troll ur just being the (not smart guy) by thinking i was calling u stupid or something.
Yes, that really sucks, and there is always that guy that plays as good as you but when you both play with people around he ends up sounding much better
Mia Williams, it’s a learning curve just like anything, but learn things that are exciting and don’t wait for your teacher to randomly select something for you. Also, don’t be afraid to ask your teacher to teach you something specific. At this level of skill, the teacher is most likely adeptly ear trained and can learn the song by listening to it.
I know this comment is old, but it's so relatable. My room is short, so if I have the fan on and I'm taking my guitar off [when it's on with a strap], I end up hitting my headstock on it, leaving a white mark that scratches it. I've done it only once...but to all of my guitars except one, including a new one.
YES. And holding your guitar upside down trying to get the pick to come back out the hole before eventually giving up and conceding "Welp, it belongs to the guitar now...."
Nathan Ross It's actually really easy to retrieve them once you get the technique down. First, make them fall down by pointing the neck up and shaking, then make the guitar horizontal facing away from you, and tilt it to the left so that the pick is in the upper part of the guitar just below the neck. Now here comes the fun part, lift your guitar up and quickly turn it so that it now faces towards you. With a little practice , you'll be able to get your picks out in no time. I actually like to store picks inside the guitar so they don't get lost, and take them out whenever I fell like playing.
0:46 My guitar instructor told me about the time when someone left a glass of water on the amp at their gig. And they were playing so hard the water split over and blew up the amp😂
When you're left handed and someone hands you a right handed guitar. ( There's this guy I know who insisted that I play a right handed guitar anyway, saying that there surely wasn't any difference between the two. Smh. )
@@oscareo754 I know, the common misconception is that he took a stock right handed guitar and just flipped it over to play left handed. Most people (generalization) don't realize how much actually went into it
You need to unplug the input and output jacks after you turn it off. They drain the battery even when not on because the pedal is always on standby when plugged in.
SG's are nice to play sitting down, the cable comes straight out the face of the guitar, right under the volume knob and it doesn't interfere with anything
One of the other annoying things is family/SO constantly disrupting you by bullshit stories or questions. Or just complaining about the volume or music.
My friend, one time he screwed with the tuning pegs while I was playing. Once he did it, I said "Dude, the hell!". He stopped, but I get it, the tuning pegs are fun to turn. Though, it is way more fun to actually play the damn guitar.
The solid thump in your heart and the look of fear you and another guy give each other when your instruments headstocks hit each other when you're setting up.
The fact is, i don't have barritone guitar at all, I'm more interested in guitars with holes, because if I accidentally dropped a pick into a guitar with no holes, it would be complicated
I got 6 pics when I bought my capo. One year later...I have seven pics. I haven’t lost one in my life 😂😂 I leave them everywhere tho and I live with a baby I don’t know how that’s possible
I had a friend that stopped by and i had my Kramer sitting out on a guitar stand so it wouldn't fall over. So he picks it up and jamming on it. Leans it against the couch then plops down and it falls over on the basement floor. Lucky it didn't break.
God, the callous part hits hard for me every year after winter. I live where it gets freezing during winter and even though I practice every day I still lose them and have to rebuild them, it freaking sucks, man.
Omg I 100% relate to losing guitar picks I give up after like 2 minutes cuz I’m pretty sure it just fell into a random different dimension somewhere in my room
People borrowing your stuff at jams and ending up stealing your picks has been a big one for me. To the point where I got a bit paranoid about it and got a set of cheaper ones to lend or use in a pinch instead of the more expensive ones that have better grip and less chances of slipping out from your fingers that I usually prefer.
DUDE in studio had a film sesh for a video I did for a band, someone used the room the night before and had an all night drinking/jam session and they left beer cans EVERRRYWHERE, one particularly left on top of an orange 50w mk3 and while bringing in equipment, and unaware of the mess left, a gig case knocked over that particular beer all down the front of the amp……I hate people sometimes
You got your metal zone plugged into the input, it's a preamp pedal it goes in the effects loop in the back. Then it sounds great, it's a good pedal just people don't know how to use it
