I fucking hate the scratchy, scrapy, tinny sound of a metal pick, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me. I'll stick to my tried and true Carbon Fiber Jazz IIIs lmao
I go busking every now and again and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd is always a winner. A simple riff to be sure, bit everyone knows it and regards it as a timeless classic. Play this anywhere in public, and I guarantee at least 2 to 3 people will realise what it is and come over to vibe on it.
Sounds awful. It's like you are concentrating really hard on not dropping the thing. A $100 pick with the Fender name on it should not make a great guitarist sound average. I'll pass on this one.
Jimi Hendrix will always be the best because he was only 27 when he died you could never catch up with him if you tried no matter how hard you play you will never catch Jimi Hendrix
I lmao in the context of explaining a delay pedal. On the other hand, why DO we start multiplication tables with 1x if it doesn't multiply anything? LOL
Theory took me from playing guitar to playing all kinds of instruments it really helped understand how to play instead of memorizing songs and I only have a basic understanding of theory
And how about truss rod adjustment? It needs losening. And how about correcting intonation? Lighter gauge strings must be shorter. Why don't you show us that? The setup definitely needs some work. Beginners appreciate it when you show us all changes.
This is the "romantic genius" ethos that rock adopted from 19th century classical music. The romantic genius does not apply themselves to society's rules - they create their own rules. Their personality is too unique to apply to any kind of norms or structures. They creat from the spirit of the moment, not from knowledge but from feeling, not from the mind but from the heart.
The tone IS in the gear, BUT the Skill is in your hands. And that's what everyone cares about. People who go to watch David Gilmour, are going there to hear his guitar skills, and not to hear how he dialed in his Tube Driver.
I don't have the siver version but I have been using Fender small size super heavy pics for over a decade on my classical. Easy to hold and has more control over your notes and techniques.
