Bad basketball = bad crowds = bad arena atmosphere. LCA was absolutely rocking in the last regular season games when the Wings were pushing for the playoffs. It's the product on the floor and not the arena itself.

Watch Alexandre Sarr Ku. It's night and day watching Sarr and Duren play defense lmao. Offensive upside for Sarr could be crazy too, plus shot projection for an 18-year-old center playing in a pro league while being a great transition creator and handler. Obviously some questions on offense but Cade has been able to make any big who can jump and catch lobs look good on offense.

the parking lot was horrible with potholes, also it was limited parking spaces. the chairs were old and uncomfortable. they needed about a 40million dollar upgrade to that arena. But once the pistons start winning i am sure they will look to build own arena in detroit.

@@gumbi7777 This was the main reason they moved the arena from what i read in the past. It would cost more to repair everything than building a new arena. Also some of the areas below arena was below industry standard for bring in machines and electrical to hold major concert any longer compared to what a newer arenas can do.

I like having the arena in the city. As with many city arenas the parking isn’t ideal, but it’s not that bad. And the options for those coming in for more than just the game are pretty good. The environment inside the arena will be good once the team is, I’ve been there for other events and it can get rocking. We just need a team to make it worth it for the fans.

Duren has only showcased good defense against teams with terrible starting centers, both in his rookie season and in his sophomore season. Injuries or not, he hasn't ever been a good defender, and that 3 game start of good defense was 100% a fluke. Get ready to welcome Brandon Ingram and Alexandre Sarr to Detroit, and say bye to Ivey and Duren.

I doubt we get Brandon Ingram, they said the Heat will be making a strong push to get him. Saying by to IVEY would be a mistake as he the only healthy player in our core 4-5. All the rest have had multiple injuries that could last even to next few season.

@@dbuck2862 Do the Heat have better assets than the Pistons even? Pistons fill the holes the Pelicans are looking for (guard and center play) better than the Heat. Unless the Heat are prepared to offer Rozier, Bam and some pick swaps, I doubt the Heat put together a realistic package better than Duren, Ivey, some seconds, a pick and some swaps.

@@justguy9418 The Heat are not trading Bam to get a much worse player, and I think the answer to this riddle is that Ingram can just leave a year from now if he gets traded somewhere he doesn't want to be. I.e., it would be stupid for the Pistons to trade real assets to rent an upcoming free agent for one season, right?

@@scottwickett1273 you still haven't proved he isn't good because IVEY skill set and stats show he is good. Specially playing under two different coaches in his second year in the NBA, which both coaches wanted different things one had a clear path the other didn't know what he was doing MONTY. Trust me nba team look at Healthy player and consider them a lot due to they need to know who they can rely on during playoff time And i bet you IVEY could draw more player wanting to play with him than CADE. Wembanyama has even said he like the way IVEY plays and praise his skills and how fast he is.

I agree Durens defense needs work. 100%. But I do think his rebounding deserves more credit. Defensive Rebounding is a defensive stat that is very valuable. He deserves respect defensively for that

Every other aspect of defense he is terrible at. And that is concerning. How many bigs do you know who were bad at EVERYTHING on defense, but suddenly became good or even neutral defenders in the league.

Toronto dude thats a Pistons fan ....I live in Toronto and visit The ACC now the scotiabank arena sine 2005 ive been traveling bck to Detroit to see plenty games @ LCA ..... I been a Pistons fan since the lindsey hunter, Carlos Delfino ,Charlie V, Stucky, jason maxell days etc........... WHy Pistons? LCA is a state of the ART fresh AAA class ARENA ,,,,up to date cool mall vibe It makes ,great location downtown,cooling design ,The Raptors Arena look dated like ruins barberic compared LITTLE CAESARS Arena ihas great seating ,BARS 313 burgers are dope....Tickets r nice for a new arena but hey I would be season tix if I was closer ..... however THE energy in LCA, the lack of seats being filled for no reason best prices in the NBA. THE fans booin after 2 turnovers , the critic , the cheering for opposing teams..the pre recording of Defense ....PISTONS fans need something to fight for . the city keeps it real and doesnt fake like a product(like raptors fans).I get it Pistons staff are world class too !!.......................... why the Raptors ? dispite the Raptors 1999 outdated arena thats cold half the time LCA has way better air vent plus errything.....but RAPTORS fans so dedicated so naive , and dumb always CHeering for the team bad or good,always buying those overpriced tickets,selling out the scotiabank arena even when we suck it brings a certain vibe and charm and energy that Helps our crap team come back n games we have no bizness being in.........LCA will be top 10 years down the line

Opponents are judging on locker room, hospitality features the arena offers teams, press rooms, on court feeling and etc. I do not think it has nothing to do with the LCA attendances or fans food or etc. It usually the behind the scene area we do not get to see.

I read the full report that posted on a official websites by nba and etc. I also have media credential and access. It was a lot of factors and atmosphere wasn't on what i read atmosphere wasn't the main factor.

(It would have to be a sign-and-trade which is not explicitly necessary as Claxton is an unrestricted free agent, but the point is that Claxton would start over Duren because he's a million times better, and I personally would trade Duren elsewhere if I could sign Claxton outright.)

IVEY also the only one that consistently healthy. You have to build around the healthy players first then look a other option once they are fully healthy. IMO

Plus it’s the Detroit Pistons not the Auburn Hills Pistons. Having the pros in the city helps the city’s economy
