Are the Detroit Pistons really the worst NBA team ever? Well, they might be... Follow Nonstop Instagram: / nonstop TikTok: / nonstop Twitter: / nonstop Imagery supplied by Getty Images
Its crazy how youtubers are better at analyzing games than a former coach of the year. I feel so bad for Cade and Ausar. The whole team actually. 2-29 is something you see in 2k, not irl.
I don't think anybody with any sense considered him "the problem" at any point. It's just that nobody has been sure how good he is because of injuries and the trash roster around him. Plenty of problems on that team and Cade's faults are nowhere near the top.
His game is drive and kick, occasional spot ups and off the dribble shots. Even if he drives everybody is crowding him inside, you got Duren, Stewart, and he cant pass it outside because his team can't shoot. Their best and most consistent player shooting wise and experience is bogdanovic who is 34 years old.
Let's not act like this era of basketball the defense or lack thereof is not a part of that plus not much of interior defense and more 3 point shooting.
I blame Monty Williams, because there is enough talent on this squad to have a least 8-10 wins right now. Williams clearly has favorities (Hayes for some reason) and is not putting the talent in positions to excel to whatever their ceilings are. In the modern NBA when teams play down to their competition, there is no reason a coach can't get one amazing game out of his team in 2 months. I think a Pistons fan could motivate and coach them to one win in 2 months, if only by benching Hayes.
@@SolaceMcflyI looked at something about that yesterday and apparently it’s because he shows potential. I mean bro is a total asswipe at shooting but he’s got good handles and defense and his shot will SOMEHOW improve. Sounds like a bunch of bs to me but that’s what i found
Every player on this team is misused and the coaching is abysmal. It is nobody’s fault but the front office and Monty Williams. Tom, Troy, Arn, and Monty. Unreal.
It just shows the difference between the pressure of shooting in high school college or even a game with your friends compared to how insanely intense the NBA is and the pressure they are under each shot. I've watched NBA players in offseason get ready at gyms and shoot close to 100% of of their shots and then game time comes and they lose 30 to 40% of that efficiency. The pressure is real
Of course they can shoot 😂. You have to ask yourself elements that influences the shooting ( contested shot, stress, expectations, good or bad pick and rolls, size mismatch in offence, etcetera etcetera...)
This is their best chance to win until the Spurs. They've almost gone two months without a win and the Raptors aren't making the playoffs this year anyways. Just let it happen lol
I feel bad for the Piston fans. I know losing so many games emotionally hurts the players, but at least they're still earning their millions of dollars at the end of the day. I'd be thankful to be earning that much compared to the $18 an hour part-time job I have now. Detroit is also an undesirable location for all-star free agents so that also plays a part in why they've been under-achieving for so long. At least Detroit's NFL team is doing well with an 11-4 record as of the day this was posted.
😒I don't feel bad😢 for the #1 draft pick making over $11 million this season!🤷♂️. Him and the rest of the squad including the coach can wipe their tears with crisp Benjamin's that give paper cuts while they struggle to put a ball in a hoop and we deal with real world problems🤦♂️.
Throwing all that money at Monty when Ime Udoka was available is one of the worst decisions ever. Their problems are top down. They have to get rid of their GM and then go from there. I'd say get rid of Monty but they gave him too much money to jump off him. They will likely let him hang around for at least another year. But their future is very bleak.
This is insane when he explains the strengths of each player I thought, that owner is so understanding in not firing that coach!😂. "Dammit handle it! Just dont burn the building down!"
If Carmelo was drafted by the Pistons instead of Darko, Detroit would've at least won two championships with him. Carmelo does most of the scoring, Billups the playmaking, and the Wallaces and Tayshaun Prince the defense. It's that simple
@@eamparbeng Yep, for good reason. However, I'd still say the biggest what if in the NBA is what if D Rose hadn't torn his ACL. This entire era of basketball would have been very different.
@@cnelsonlv99 Derrick Rose tore his ACL due to improper running and landing mechanics. He never corrected them like LeBron or Westbrook did. If that never happened, us Bulls fans would've seen two extra banners in the United Center
That's such nonsense. They are definitely a bad team. You can't hold the longest losing streak in NBA history and not be bad. They have a few players that are probably worth holding onto to try to build around but as a team they're very bad and lots of that roster will not be in the NBA much longer.
did you even watch the video? they ARE a bad team. the WORST defense AND offense, WORST clutch stats, WORST 3pt percentage. LOWEST 3pt taken, they are literally the worst or top 3 worst in every single measurable stat in the NBA. how are they not a bad team?
@@jjoe7078no he didnt, he commented this 2 minutes after the video came out. if he watched it, he would know that this is by far the worst team in NBA history with the worst measurable stats in NBA history.
They do still get their 2024 pick. They traded it, but it has sliding protections for a few years. If they’re still bottom 9 3 years from now they may need an intervention. Or exorcism.
I hope the Spurs fans watches this Video as it's applicable to the Spurs as well. You can't blame a championship coach and says all of a sudden he can't coach. GM is the one to blame to all L
Basketball is unforgiving because of the small roster. If you can't have players that fit together, it's hard to Frankenstein something that works well enough to be competitive.
Zeke, as a Detroit champion do you have any words of advice for the current team and the challenges it’s facing? Zeke: I couldn’t believe I was watching a documentary of a guy being an asshole to everyone …. I mean, I had only been nothing but nice to this dude … lol
"They don't own their 2024 first round draft pick... won't even receive the top pick" Sir, you should have done your research. That pick is lottery protected through 2027. It's not going to convey this season. Thanks for trying though 😂
Bro that's lose streak so awful 😭 i think need to improve the line up need 3 point shooter or best defenders or best finisher in other words there are need change the line up before going worse team ever in NBA history
🏀They have reached the point where the coach and management must be changed urgently, Spurs are next, there was simply oversaturation and loss of ideas and this shows how stupid it is that the NBA does not have relegation
I thought they would be bottom three or bottom five but I didn’t think they would be this bad They have good young players and some decent to good veterans but how could they be this horrible
The coach is sitting in the lap of luxury $78mil probably guaranteed. He's set for life and probably would love to be fired so he can get the contract payout without out dealing with this team anymore.😂😂
Thompson is a rookie and will develop into his game. Being in Detroit will be good for his confidence in the long run. I’ll be a fan for the long run!💪🏿
