It can very much be addictive! I have another large piece of equipment coming up in a future video that I won at another auction.

No experience trying to sell with them, but ya, I agree with you!

I have a couple of Auction videos out now, so try and watch those to give you an idea. It can be a mixed bag. Something I am guilty of is not going to check out the equipment on preview days. I am kind of far from the auction sites so I don’t usually feel like going out to the site twice. I don’t however have to rely on the equipment I buy to run a construction business, so if I get screwed it is my fault and I’ll just make a video with a rebuild on it. If you really want to protect yourself, I would go out on a preview day and look at all the equipment and test it thoroughly. Right now it does not seem like many good deals are had from auctions. Even broken equipment is going for way more than it should in my opinion. I have had better luck with private sellers on Craigslist, but it can take a lot longer to find things you are looking for. What I do like to use RB site for is researching past auctions and what equipment sold for. That should give you a good range of what the equipment is worth and help serve as a guide so you don’t over pay. Also keep in mind you will have buyers fees and taxes on top of your winning bid and sometimes that can be upwards of 30 percent!

Yea, I am sorry. I got really busy at my day job, 60-80 hours a week and then a few work trips. I have something really exciting I’m working on that I can’t wait to share with the channel! That’s been taking all my free time. I also have been really down about the lack of growth on the channel for the time I have been putting in. A typical weekly video takes me between 20-50 hours per video. It adds a lot of stress to my days when I am fully booked up, but I hope to get back to videos very shortly.

@@MakersAcres yea not sure what the deal with your channel is. My suggestion is to keep pushing and don't give up. Nothing worth having in life is easy. Yea your vids are top quality, with all that footage no doubt it takes that long.

Sadly we don’t have much choice!

I have not tried the boom one yet. They were missing the connectors and wiring, so you have to do that yourself. The connectors were also back ordered for over a year due to supply chain issues.

I will. I have not used it yet. I am trying to find a concrete shoot that matches the connector at the bottom. This also was missing the connector and the wiring that took a year to get. Some of the prices on new attachments are ridiculous, so I feel like some of the gamble is worth it. I think this sheep’s foot compactor new is around 15k now from bobcat. For that price I would buy a separate machine.
