There was a scare on a Southwest plane as it was landing in Oklahoma City. The jet dropped to just over 500 feet from the ground while it was still miles away from the airport. ABC's Morgan Norwood has more from New York.

@@LionNotASheep FYI Spirit has the safest safety record of US airlines, no fatalities and less than 15 injuries. None of the other airlines can say that. I have no problem flying Spirit.

As far as I know Southwest prefer VFR and avoids FILING IFR plans and their flights are not recorded properly by FAA. Some airports like Burbank (bob hope) prefer VFR which is more like Private Passenger Trafficking.
