0:24 Assist mode is an option. But if you're the kind of person who doesn't want to do assist mode, there is a stowaway you can get from one of the shops that'll prevent you from taking any fall damage. The Packing Peanut I believe it's called.

Thank you, I went back due to your video and reskilled for that one cause I noticed dmg reduction is linear. If you have 100 armor, you ll have 100% dmg reduction on your health, yes 100% no diminishing returns. small sidenote, if you reach 20 shell resist your hammer stops taking damage - quite usefull during midgame with the valve Such a funny moment when the final boss claims to be a god, while you are immortal. 😆

I literally am being gatekept from getting this achievement because the urchins on the climbing walls just past the start have a seemingly infinite hitbox because no matter where I jump off from they knock me off into the abyss below so I ask this question, how tf do I get past that??

Either forward from the Lookout Tower or backtrack from the Cracked Throne, both are pretty close!

There are a bunch of achievements on Xbox that don’t work properly. The devs are aware and working on a fix. I’d say just wait for the update and hope it auto pops after instead of restarting the whole game right now.

If you really can't get out. Turn on the assist mode in settings to keep your microplastics when dying. Then choose the option to Die Instantly from the pause menu. Hope it works out for you!

It’s a pity the platforming in this game is so awful and the level geometry is so frequently broken. Game had a cool idea, a great look, a fun story and characters, but sometimes it feels like it is actively discouraging you from having any fun with it. Thanks for the video. Now if the sponges would at least vaguely go in the direction I need instead of flinging me into spikes or off into nowhere, it’d be great. 🤣
