Diablo 4 reminding me very strongly of Destiny 2 launch (followed by curse of osiris). Fun for like a week, then the dread sets in, now I'm 100% I'm not reinstalling for at least another year, and until then I'm completely apathetic to anything that happens. Simply don't care. I've gone from "yeah I'm definitely going to play season 1" to "none of this is relevant to me at all, nothing they say or do will bring me back anytime soon". Any chance they had to salvage the situation is completely gone. I'm just leaving this comment, not even going to watch this video.

There are 2 fixes for Diablo 4 that I can think of: 1 - Sell it to someone competent 2 - Fire literally every single person that worked on Diablo 4, and hire people that are competent.

I am so proud of my self that i didn't buy the game despite i was interested in it from day one. The more expensive version of the game that allowed you play 4 days before the launch smelled bad from beginning, shortly saying the disrespect towards the players shows clearly that they just wanted to squeze money from you. I will never buy a preorder ever in my life and i will never pay for something called early access especially for such ridiculous high price and i m telling you, you also should not do that otherwise you will get delivered scam games like this one all the time.

I can’t believe this game still has a solid player base. This isn’t Blizzard anymore. Hell, it’s not DIABLO anymore. It’s a half baked product aimed at quick money and monetization. I quit a month ago and do not miss playing in the slightest. I’ve played every Diablo game released and Diablo 4 is not only an embarrassment to this franchise but to gaming in general.

D4 is unenjoyable due to lack of basic features, overly restricted player choice and Stat bloat. Wow is unplayable because the rampant botting goes unaddressed and the economy is massively inflated. OW2 was a rug pull. What is blizzard doing? Do they feel good about their products? Do you think they have pride in their work? I miss the days when games would be delayed until they were finished instead of the broken, half done demos we get now. Blizzard has lost its soul and with it, they lost the ability to create lasting works of art. They asset flip their old products and hope the consumer doesn't care enough. They treat customers as paying beta testers without respecting them enough to actually fix real problems. Blizzard is a walking husk of itself.

Some stupid player said in the Blizzard forums that there was a smear campaign by youtubers towards Diablo 4…. but the truth is that only what happens is said, the game takes care of itself to expose itself. To any developers who think they can make a live service asymmetric ARPG when PoE exist. Even if D4 wasn’t a steaming pile of 💩 it wouldn’t matter. General rule of thumb is that the market can only sustain one successful live service pr genre.

The current state of game development is absolutely pathetic. The OG game creators from 20-30-40 years ago must be so pissed off at the current state of things. It's absolutely pathetic. Feels good not having bought this for the suspicion of it going down in flames shortly after a mildly successful launch stint. Seeing the people that work on these games is not encouraging. Both the top and bottom of Blizzard look like bad news for anyone who has been a fan of their IPs in history. As much as I'd like to play WoW as it was during Legion and beforehand, that simply isn't happening. Have been away for years and they only manage to get worse. Looked into selling my account, but at a glance, it isn't worth a whole lot anymore apparently. Oh well.

I don't think any of the suits at actblizz care if the game's reputation is in the toilet at this point. They didn't care about that shit since announcing the mobile game, and they don't care about OW2 being the worst rated game on steam. People can flash as much of the low review scores, post on reddit and make clips as much as they want... enough whales are still buying that battle pass, token, skins. Whatever.
