You really should wear your safety glasses with all those bits flying around, great job though it’s going to be a lovely bar area, greetings from South Africa
Andy that body of yours takes a massive hammering all the time.; In addition to your abused back and knees you never wear ear - defenders. As someone who did similar, I would suggest you change your ways or I guarantee you will regret it in the not too distant future
Amazing the amount of demolition and 'clean up' that has to be done before the rehabilitation can take place. You both are delightful to watch what you are able to accomplished each week.
I keep thinking you will put up your shade in the patio any day now. Then the television. And, when you're done with the outdoor bar I'm hoping for a big bbq party! Until next time...
Hi! From Florida. Where does the water go when it comes off the bar roof? No gutter? So does it drain towards the grape vine? Also have you considered putting in a Judas window in the solid patio door to allow for cross ventilation? It seems the patio would be a heat sink in the summer!
It's not worth collecting off the bar roof. We collect rainwater off half the house roof (an area of 100sqm or 1075sqft) and hardly get anything off that, as we get so little rainfall. Yes, any water off the bar roof goes to the vines. We get a nice breeze in the patio in the summer due to the shape of the roof.
Amazed at how much rubbish you remove from the walls When you’re finished they look great and as you say will last another 100 plus years Tilly is gorgeous she’s going to be a fantastic pal 🤗🤗🤗 👍👍👍
I thought Sunday was a day of rest, but then I realized, it takes a while to upload these videos, so you probably pushed yourselves to reach a certain level so that you could " throw a 'shrimp' on the Barbie" and relax with a beer on a Sunday. It looks pretty dry there. How have you done for annual rainfall to date? That this area was once for rabbits is rather historical. It reminds me of the Peruvian or Patagonian households that have guinea pigs running about in their kitchens. There, it's not a shrimp that lands on the Barbie!😊
We generally try to have Sundays off to relax. The uploading etc is all done in advance. We have had a whopping 66mm (2.5 inches) of rain this year so far and won't get much more now until October time
Hahaha! Ray is not the only one. So many times l thought to comment that you have a faux clock in your workshop that is right twice a day. Must be the camera angle. Great progress guys - your summer is going to be so much more comfortable!
We're very fortunate here that we have cool nights due to the altitude. Even when it's 40 degrees C in the day, by 7 or 8pm is usually much cooler and very pleasant.
@@FincaLifeSo really you would get fhe most benefit from the a/c if it is used for your midday Siesta . At this moment we have had 24hr of delicious rain 💙
