We're Sharon and Andy. Back in May 2019 we bought an old Finca (Spanish farm), originally a Bodega, in need of total restoration in the Murcia region of Spain. The aim is to build a debt free, off grid home with our rescue animals. We are doing all the building and restoration work ourselves, using traditional building methods and showing exactly how we do it, so hopefully the videos will be inspirational or at least, entertaining! Learn from our mistakes and see how we did it! We are sharing our journey and daily life, focusing mainly on the house renovation.
We left our old life behind to follow a dream, we are currently living off our savings and have no income, so if you would like to support us and help us to keep on creating videos, you can do so at www.buymeacoffee.com/FincaLife or on Patreon www.patreon.com/Finca_Life

Hi. I just want to say I have only just discovered your channel and while it’s non stop rain in Wales I am binge watching your challenges and triumphs. Currently still watching episodes from 3 years ago so have loads more to keep me entertained. Great to be a fly on your walls😂😂😂
That will be lovely to not have sponsor advertising. I usually just fast forward through. I think what you have achieved is amazing. One thing I'd love to see is perhaps your trip to the local shops or if you go out for dinner. I mean, I think it would be interesting to see more of the area where you live. Your hen house is amazing. The hens will love it. Looking forward to seeing the new chicks. Your produce growing is wonderful. The tomatoes are soooo tall. Wow! Looking forward to seeing the potatoes.
The auto door is brilliant, wish we had those on our houses when we kept chickens back in the UK. Lillian is looking forward to going on a hen hunt with you 😊
Someone else noticed what I noticed, you both seem so relaxed and happy lately you must be doing something right ! Great video on the hen house, it looks just like all your other projects…superb ! 👍🏽😎
I love the ways you both help each other and you work good together . Do what you have to do as long as you make videos lol i look forward to them every week .From Australia
I prefer not to judge people for taking on sponsors. Their decisions are none of my business and d I will love your content with or without them. Love that hen house ❤😍🫶🏻

The ventilation also needs to flow around the bottom of the coop to remove the smell of the poops from the bedding. Perhaps holes covered in chicken wire down below as you made up above.
I won't be in the majority here but I'm fine with sponsorships because it takes minimal effort for me to fast forward or skip if I choose to and you guys need to have an income plus some of those ''try-me's'' can come in very handy on your homestead. It's the height of selfishness and laziness of us to limit your financials because we are too lazy and selfish to click a mouse or watch an ad that helps you monetarily as well as your channel reach. Hang in there! Love your videos.
I couldn't tell if you did something to prevent something digging under the fence, or not. Your chicken's will be living in the Cluck Taj Mahal! I don't really mind one sponsor if you turn off the ad's, but if you do both it's too much imo
We can't see anything digging under the fence in broad daylight and at night, the hens will be safely locked in the coop. We can't do anything about the ads - It's no longer possible to turn ads off and even if we could - how would we earn any revenue? If you want advertising free, join us on Patreon. We have no income apart from the revenue we make here and that's well below a living wage. We're fortunate we have no mortgage and minimal bills.
It never ceases to amaze me that viewers think you are doing the videos for the fun of it. Of course you need ad revenue to compensate you for your time of filming and editing.
@@LCamp-cr7fsDid I say they are making video's for fun? No. I don't think it's right to have a sponsor in-video and ads both and I'm entitled to my opinion. Kind of a rude, and unnecessary reply there LCamp
Ventilation is vital for the chickens but it needs to happen near the ground so air flow can take away the smell of the feces in the hay. You might want to take some of the bottom boards around the hen house out and cover the open space with chicken wire so the chickens are safe and there is lots of ventilation.
“I heard it from my friends friend who heard it from her sister’s cousin who has the bike, who heard it from the butcher or was it the baker ? Or was it the ferret in closure….. but it’s true, honestly. 😀😁🤣😂🤣😂
