i feel like most people enjoyed Ryuga's dub voice more. Maybe its because of bias since its a childhood show but i do think Ryuga's voice just fits better in the dub
The two GOATS are finally gonna go at it! 😈🔥 Honestly, THIS was the episode I’ve been wanting to see your reaction to the most, this and the next episode, cause Doji’s finally getting to step into action again!
20:03 Gingka defeated Doji in episode 12. The power of his spirit led to awakening of Ryuga. 22:40 Somehow, I didn't pay attention to this fact, but it is true that a ram is a male sheep. However, as Gingka and Ryo said, the thing that decides a battle in the end is the "blader's spirit".
@@neongreen6 I don't think that we be sure about that. Doji did use his special move, and he surely wanted Gingka to go all out so that his spirit would grow more powerful and awaken Ryuga.
@@MrPeaceGuy54He might’ve used his special move, but he clearly wasn’t using it to its maximum effect. The way he used it against Gingka in Episode 12, and Kyoya in their first battle paled in comparison to how he used it against Kenta and Hyoma in this episode, as well as to what Doji did to Kyoya in Episode 11. And even those two moments don’t compare to the power Doji shows in the next episode. Doji doesn’t use his full power unless he aims to completely destroy his opponent, so it would make sense if he wasn’t going all out against Gingka in Episode 12 for the reason of wanting Gingka to awaken Ryuga, and even without Doji using his full power, he’s been able to manhandle Kyoya, not only once, but twice. Against Gingka, Doji was probably using the same level of minimum effort he used against Kyoya in their first battle. I don’t think Gingka truly surpassed Doji until he mastered Storm Bringer as well as matched and surpassed Phoenix.
@@jakandratchet9930 That does seem right. At the same time, it is very much possible that he just grew stronger after losing to Gingka. After all, he didn't seem particularly powerful against Ryo when they battled in Koma village, and at that point of time, Ryo himself was nowhere near where Phoenix was when he battled Doji. Awakening Ryuga was, most probably, Doji's highest priority. Therefore, to use less force and risk failure would not have been an intelligent move from Doji.
@@MrPeaceGuy54To be fair, Gingka did claim that his father was the world’s strongest (did he say strongest? Or simply best/greatest? I don’t remember) blader at the time of his death, so maybe there’s some record of him battling that we don’t know of/haven’t seen. Granted, that could be bias off of Gingka being his son, how much he looks up to his dad, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t just some baseless claim. Plus, I’m pretty sure Ryo is a more dedicated/committed, and experienced blader, whereas Doji doesn’t always take things 100% seriously. That likely contributed to him being bested that time. He likely just saw Ryo as a mere annoyance to his goal that time, rather as someone he wanted to gloriously destroy. I think Doji did become far more resolved once he stole L-Drago, and took Beyblading more seriously. It would make sense if he became a lot stronger since he first raided Koma Village. A Blader’s Spirit does go a long way in Beyblade, even if the spirit of said Blader is an evil one. I have another theory, but I could be wrong. But I’ve been theorizing that Ryuga’s Dark Power increasing may somehow increase Doji’s too. That lightning that often strikes around Ryuga, it seems to sometimes react to Doji’s behaviour as well.
