I have an essa that I don’t bring anywhere! His name is Mashed Potato and he is a possum! I really want to get one to bring places so I can try and distract myself from my anxiety and depression!
I have anxiety, adhd, and possibly autism,should I have an essa? ( I have an anxiety attack sorta if I witness or hear children in distress, not like throwing a fit, like, PAIN. I don’t know why it triggers, I’m also extremely sensitive to noise and just can’t get over it. Thanks for reading ! )
Hey I’m looking to learn more about essa’s and the community :) Do you guys have disabilities and can’t afford a service dog so u use stuffed animals? I am in no way hating I’m just curious about the essa community:) please lmk if I’m wrong
maybe your favorite animal or if you have any pets the same animal as them. or just any animal you like. just because I’m paranoid, if other kids who think essa’s are weird are around you make sure to tuck the essa’s body parts in and cuddle them because I was having a panic attack and kids were pulling his tail and throwing my essa around the room because they thought it was weird so please be careful and good luck!
I recommend for outings to first hide them, then slowly after a few outings show them a lil bit, and then show them fully to not be scared and if someone stares just dont think about it too much^^ (but if someone stares a little too long or tries going up to you, HIDE IT. this is what i do, maybe it can help^^)
