For the record, this and all French 90mm autoloaders should have a 4s reload, same as the 100mms, but Gaijin made them all 6.7s for balance…. Sigh

Honestly there's a problem with a lot of mid tier french tanks. I'f their br's were lower, it would make them even better, which would make more players use them, which again would make their br higher lol. Decompression is the thing i pray for this game everyday

I'm doing pretty well in it. I think the big advantage of it is it makes an economically viable lineup with the somua and amx-30. You get to play a French lineup and actually gain pretty good sl. I'd make it 7.0

It's because French and British vehicles are represented very poorly in the game and anything that's good gets massively over BR'd. If a Russian tank does well they leave it but if a British tank does well at all it's raised by nearly 1.0 BR such as the Caernarvon. All British and most French tanks could drop by 0.3 BR and you would see no difference in their stats at all.

Please do a video on the sterla-10m2 I thought it was trash but then learned how to use missiles and I think its pretty good!

The T-55AM was never dropped down from 8.7 to 8.3, it simply was never changed.

Enjoyable content as always OddBawZ, thank you for continuing to do what you do ^^ Having a chuckle reading the comments and seeing you cop some heat over the two reversing incidents. Whilst they aren't wrong about you blocking a reverse (which is a thing that annoys you when you are the reversee).. It is a PvP game built to frustrate you into spending IRL money, these two incidents were VERY tame compared to most of the stuff I see in game. Also good on the player who you blocked for voicing frustration in chat without resorting to insults and name calling, nice to see. And remember kids, Odd could easily have left the one where he was at fault for blocking someone on the cutting room floor but he chose not to. Personally I enjoy the videos you make OddBawZ. And part of the enjoyment is because you seemingly leave your honest reactions to most things in (good, bad or otherwise) so we get to see it isn't all sunshine and rainbows when you play a game like this for as many hours as you do to produce content for us all to enjoy.

The absurd and likely scenario is that only good players will take it to battle, making the statistics rise and potentially up the BR/prevent it from going down

It’s got the char 25t turret. it’s only got 209 mm pen with its best round, sure it’s explosive BUT the reason this works on the char is bc it’s a light tank. fast small and nimble. it’s not the fastest light tank but it’s more than enough to stay unseen and get to good positions fast. the AMX is a big Medium tank meaning that it’s easier to be seen and it is also slower than the char it’s still fast but you’re more likely to run into some thing head on in the AMX and because things at the br it’s at have so much armour you most likely won’t be able to do much to whatever you face especially if you run into Russia. imma just get the coupon and use it to help me get the next battle pass when it comes out

This poor thing ive seen it in matches as ive been grinding my way throught the american tanks and it makes me feel bad when i kill one of these ,while playing the m3 bradley (the first one at 8.0) i was pretty shocked when i shot one in the turrent as i panic fired while backing up and knocked out the crew with 1 apds 25mm round, now if i see one i just aim for the turret and hold down the fire button crying inside screaming you made me do this.

It also suffers the same fate as the Char25t, sure you can argue its a light tank, gets scout, highly mobile and survives the 20mm from the marder. But thats where the good things stop, it also has M82 but thats it.

122nd try, please play the T-80 (light tank) or the T-28E. Both tanks are in USSR 2.3br and you have no videos on both tanks. The T-28E is foldered in with the T-28. Both tanks are good amd you should give it a shot.

I don’t think the BR of French tanks are bad per say, but they really suffer much more than others from uptiers. Like I think all 7.3 tanks are fine as they are, the problem is the constant uptiers against far superior t55s, especially the AMD, which is unpenetrable from the front, has a stabilizer, thermals, APFSDS, ATGM, laser range finder… and 7-8 games out of 10 are full uptiers against Russia. So compression is the real issue holding France back

TO90/930 shouldn't be any higher than 6.7 TOA100 should go back to 7.3 French players evidently haven't been spending enough, maybe if more SOMUA SM(a betterTOA100 at 7.3) were selling the French tree would feel more sensible.

Colorblindness is a curious thing, it's hard to wrap your head around if you never expwrienced it. My father is red-green-blind, I remember a day where I helped him in the garden. He was lookin for a screaching red pair of sheers... They were directly in front of him, he was almost standing and pretty much directly looking at them, but he didn't find them, since they were lying on top of green ivy. Or the talks we had about the right lighting color for his fish tank (RGB LEDs combined with a white-ish UV lamp), he saw everything in completely different colora, from what he described xD So, props to you for performing so well with such a disadvantage, OddBawZ ;D

Bumping it down to 7.0 does very little, as there's only one other vehicle at 7.0, AML-90, so to have any kind of competent lineup you'll bring it to 7.3 anyway. It's just a worse Char 25t: About twice as tall and twice as long. Lower top speed. Far worse reverse (though still good at -19kph). No scouting. There's some slight upsides but no way this thing belongs to 7.3. Unfortunately 7.0 is pretty dead and at 6.7 it'll probably be too oppressive so I don't know what to do with it, really. Edit: But don't worry, good players will still play it, get it upped in BR to 7.7 and that's where it'll stay, like is gaijin tradition with french vehicles.

Yeah, I have never got why the AM-1 was at 8.3. It needs to be at 8.7 cause like you pointed out. It's hard for 7.3 to do anything to it. Plus there are tanks at 8.0 that have a similar gun, less armor and not stab. I guess you pay for only going up .3 and get a much better tank.

Hey odd, when’s the last time you used the xm803? I just unlocked it and am having quite the struggle to do well in it. The apfs bounces off light tanks at odd angles and very rarely will you survive more than one shot

T-55AM/Type69-II not facing period Abrams -to make wallets feel better- doesn't make whales better, just makes the older tank gameplay worse.

Im glad im not the only one stuck with spading the us tree im a little lower on the tutel but half the problem there is the battle is half over and all the flankers are so dug in it becomes a survival mission lol

God, if Gaijin would implement the French tanks correctly, they would be really good. They use to be OP but then gaijin nerfed many of their autoloader's reload WAY too much. Then there is the ammo replenishment which is WAY too long. It would also be nice if the implemented the oscillating turret correctly, aka the gun is pseudo stabilized.

21:00: In Odd's defense (and maybe he edits these out), this is the first time I've actually seen him ram a teammate from behind and likely got a teammate killed. Usually it's some schmuck rolling into a spot Odd was holding, bumping into Odd, and screwing up his gameplay. The incident at 14:50 seems to be a more common occurrence.

6.7 is terrible for a 90mm auto loader. Edit: its not a 4.0 second autoloader, but has to deal with 8.7 ALL THE TIME. its got 209mm of pen....atrociously useless.

At France 7.3, I want to face M48’s and T54’s. Hate 7.3 France so much. 9/10 deaths are by Stabilized tanks with LRF. Or air.

I honestly couldn't care much for this tank, I'm just angry they moved the 100mm version up to 7.7 for no reason. Completely unjustified

Just a side note I clocked my 8.3 matches playing Russia and 14 out of 20 matches were all uptiered to 9.3 and it's just ridiculous why would I want to play against endless xm1 tanks or rooikats with thermals and even 8.7 gets full uptiered to 9.7 just as bad they really need to limit 8.0 vehicles to 9.0 and below I just don't get why they continue to think that a 8.3 vehicle can compete with a 9.3 vehicle or 8.7 to 9.7 the wait times wouldn't be bad and 9.7 can't go below 9.3 it's just that simple this math isn't hard to do those battle rating aren't fun to play because of the endless uptier
