Today was a day of trying to overcome mental obstacles.
I went to Gissy with the specific aim of doing the steep drop in to the Enduro line.
I managed to overcome my fear of it after several attempts, so I am really pleased with that win.
Then I fell off on what is almost a kiddies jump line section right at the end of Hope Line. I stupidly tried to jump the last hump and then brake hard enough on landing to still make the right hand turn into the berm instead of carrying on.
My 220mm front rotor did exactly as commanded and sent me for the jump without the bike. Another knackered knee. Fail.
So... 1x win, 1x fail.
Yep, just another day at Gissy. Lol.
