Suren, this is uncanny! I was just looking at the chess book on Tal's 100 Best Games of Chess by Bernard Cafferty. And as I was flipping through the pages I chanced upon this position with the white Rooks on g5 and h6 squares and saw that the game was played at the 1962 Varna Olympiad. And 5 minutes later I go on RU-vid to see what new game Suren is going to share today and lo and behold! It is the same game I just looked at couple of minutes ago! What a pleasant surprise and coincidence! Thanks.
Hello @ Chess with Suren @ 1:27 the pawn sacrifice you show, have you ever covered in a video its origin? The earliest I think I’ve seen that move was in 1894, where Wilhelm Steinitz was defeated by Lasker in a WCC game. Perhaps I’ve seen it earlier, but that’s a famous game TY 🙏
Well obviously waiting around for TAL to come over and eat dinner and slay your entire army is not a good idea.... aggression must be met with aggression when it comes to TAL Waiting around for the milkman or the postman obviously is not a good idea LOL better than what I could do though.... brutal game, brutal ! ! !
This is a great game but you should have made it at least 10 minutes long because you talk very fast and there's some intricate combinations that need more explaining also a lot of moves you just give without giving a reason why
