These people have such a weird view of Korea. If they think our country and people are like this, they really need a reality check. Even the “Korean” they’re speaking sounds made up. I like it when people appreciate and respect our culture, not when they make up their own creepy fantasies about it and pretend to be us.
They literally think every korean will worship them, that korea is a super happy, kind place where everyone looks jaw-droppingly, godly gorgeous (i'm not trying to be offensive, i hope you know what i mean) and everyone loves acting cute--
That girl that legit bounced off the walls because people said she looks “half Asian” made me a bit disturbed lmao. I’m actually half asian and dude it’s not as cool and wow as you think it is, especially when people say racist slurs and says it’s okay to curse you because you’re asian.
@@zzzzaazzz1896 It looks like a lot of these people think that Asia is Japan, South Korea and China so thats probably what she considered "half Asian".
Lolol agreed especially if your half black American and Cambodian its like they really only think Asia consists of Japanese, South Korea, and China it weird and being two minorities together the racism is even more just disgusting
I am not Asian but my aunt married into a Korean family so we always go over to Korea to see them. When my aunt asked me and my cousin to grab rice cakes we were approached by an American girl who tired hugging my cousin calling him “oppar” and saying he looked like a kpop idol, he tried to be gentle and push her off but she kept trying to follow us and so I said we were together...( please I cringed and wanted to cry when I said this T-T). This made her leave. We got the rice cakes and my cousin said it wasn’t the first time this has happened with foreigners. Please wtf.
I never actually met or saw a Korean who does "Aygo(?)" Seriously , like mostly they do it for laughter I imagine no actual Korean girl talks like she is in an anime
she said it wrong HA its aegyo lol and its considered fucking cringy in korea which is why they make idols do it on tv, to make people cringe and laugh. it's entertaining but cringy
“I’m swimming to South Korea.” I felt that on a spiritual level because our president (Trump) told us to drink bleach to get rid of the virus... smh 🤦🏾♀️
Ok but did anyone else feel seriously ill watching the guy saying he has “yellow fever” and that white women are “pasty pale” and “nasty” like plz stop ✋ 🛑
I was sitting there as a majority Irish woman who grew up with my dad's side who is full Mexican and laughed when I was born because, I quote my uncle, you could see my veins just like "what is this boy... What is he fucking talking about?"
It's so disgusting and it made me feel nauseous. I'm half Asian and this fetishism is fucking gross lmao, I don't mind people finding Asians attracted but to label yourself as having yellow fever and being proud, and labelling white girls as pasty is just gross and corrupt. People, man. People. •́ ‿ ,•̀
Right? I listen to k-pop bc the songs sound so good and sometimes I'll feel like a koreaboo for just listening to kpop... But then I watch these videos and realize I have never acted like any of these people nor do I pretend to be korean/be from Korea lmao
I apologize on behalf of white people. This behavior is inappropriate and they don't actually take the time to fully understand the culture. It's very disdainful. I feel so bad..
He was disgusting and he didnt need to put white women down..... in latin america they likes white women and also workship them while putting down latinas. He did the same actually.
_Sometimes koreaboos need someone to tell them that:_ - Asia is not just Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, actually there's so many countries too - Korean's don't act "cute" when they speak - It's not easy to be an Idol, there's so many things you must have, not just knowing a bit of sing and dance - *IDOLS ARE NOT PERFECT* , THEY ARE PERSONS TOO AND THEY SURFER JUST.LIKE.US
I had to pause after the clip at 12:42 bc I needed to gouge my eyes out and chop my ears off. That was so uncomfortable to watch. I could see the pain on the poor guys face. What if the guy isn’t even Korean? And they just assume that any Asian is like their K-pop boy. The guy literally acted like he wanted out of that elevator so fast. But bless his soul because he kept smiling and even told them to have a good night.
@@bbi2.052 I don’t know really,,, cause I had this friend who was from Detroit and he had the face structure of an Asian, but there wasn’t a single Asian in his bloodline, at least, that's what he said
i do have a problem with westerners calling each other oppa/unnie/etc for severals reasons excluding the cringe factor that's pretty obvious. Because I feel like using it would be completely useless in western culture so i can't think of any other reasons foreigners would use it except for the mockery or the clout. Like, i'm not saying that it's wrong to incorporate words from a different language in your own vocabulary for you to use it, because there are actually a lot of languages that may have a word for something that yours doesn't have any for. I'm especially thinking about Japanese and a word like takotsubo, which expresses the fact of dying from stress or a broken heart. So in a way i think it might be really interesting, as long as it's relevant in your culture. And using "oppa" as an English girl on your English boyfriend doesn't make any type of sense. Don't get me wrong they seem like a cute couple and i don't wanna hate on them. But like, oppa is actually one of the hardest words to translate, becausz it can be used for very different relationships. Westerners really don't incorporate age differences in the way they'll call people, so i don't get why some foreigners do that except for being this stereotypical drama character who's about the only thing they've seen about Korea. And also, why the fuck would you go out there and try to educate the whole country about a concept you can't even pronounce properly? Sis watched like half of a KBS variety show and now she's acting like she's got a degree in korean sub culture i just can't
Angelina Valeyovna I mean I do call my friend Eomma because she’s like a mother to me. And we don’t do it for clout or as mockery because honestly think she’s like a mom.
I mean tbh i dont think theres anything wrong with using "oppa" to lovingly call someone. Like someone calling others "senorita" or whatever- but these kboos really go over the top yk? By doing these cute/whiny stuffs by showing the stereotypes of a Korean girl- but these are my opinions you dont have to agree lol
11:55 well this girl wasn't trying to be Korean nor was she acting like a stereotype but she was still being disrespectful so us black people dislike her lmao
So I'm Half Turkish half Emirati so I'm technically Asian and so i went to the US once like for a year cuz of my parents, and when I introduced my self to my classmates i said " I'm Asian " (btw when i was born I weirdly got mono eyelids) and sat down . when it was lunch this girl named Melody came to me and said " where r u from ?" I said " I'm-" "like r u Korean or Japanese .....or maybe from Thailand ?" " no I'm half Turkish half Emirati " "k so y did ya lie ? Huh ? Ur clearly not Asian and u still have the guts to lie " and she left Like bitch tf --
Me, a half Asian, after facing some awful racism in school that made me feel completely uncomfortable in my own race to the point that I'm not sure what the hell I even am anymore: ??????? Edit: when you're young the things people say can affect you a lot. I'm glad a lot of you were fine with the racism but I wasnt and I'm not. You can't just say "they're jealous!" Or "it's their problem!" that's some straight r/thanksimcured bs right there. I appreciate it, but you guys can't fix me with RU-vid comments or private messages. Please stop harassing me with well meaning messages.
I'm half and when I was young I was teased, only by white girls. Once we were much older and they could approach topics without being vile , most admitted they were mad that I was different . So, I'm sure jealously plays into it . Don't let it bother you, I never did
At first I was like "why did you put the first girl she's just explaining what aegyo is" and then I saw her do it and I just- *n o* also the girl showing us how to "act in a Korean drama" her pronunciation was so off omg-
thank u for showing this my reccomendations youtube. Now I want to see myself suffer. Bye. and also... 6:27 WHY IS HE IN A DARK ROOM HE BE SHOWING SOME PSYCHOPATHY THO
Ok, I know the first girl is cringe, but like, her boyfriend puts up with this in such a loving manner. He looked like he cherished her so much. I am happy for them 😭
Dudeeeeeeee, what's wrong with these people ?? LOL!!! I don't understand why these people want to change their appearance so much. They are naturally beautiful, I'm sure of it! Dude ... what happened to the world?! Note: Sorry for the bad English. I can't speak your language, but I can translate the basics! And thanks for the video. I needed to see more of this!!!!!!! Note 2: I live in Brazil hahahahaha A hug and kiss from Brazil!!
People keep saying "oppa" in a non-ironic way? Even in Korea? I'm serous, everytime some random girl at a fansign call an idol "oppa" they just stare at them wishing for death
joe mama / i'm portuguese and we (well, mostly teenagers) use american slang and some words out of habit whilst also speaking portuguese. some people try really hard to be "american mean high school girls" but besides that, we really just enjoy the memes lmao
The part where Katieaegi says she gets sick if she smells alcohol....didnt she get crazy drunk in korea everyday with some Russian chick? I swear they were always drunk and joked about how they were so drunk they had to be carried by korean police and plastic surgeon? I thought she ran away to korea to be a model in a shady company so how she gonna be a surgeon? I guess now she gonna try to be an English teacher to secure a korea visa idk
I’m a mixed Japanese and I see SO MANY ppl who try to copy Japanese or Korean stuff… like anything, then they tell me I don’t look Japanese enough and they’re not EVEN Japanese, plus they’re taking Japanese classes & only like Asian men. 😭😭😭
U know how terrifying it is to be surrounded by a ton of kboos as an Asian, like deadass I’ve been scared straight by some people at my school cus all they do is follow me around thinking I don’t notice. Like tf get away from me, just because I’m asian does not make me your “oppar”.
