Another Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Crossover! 

Usagi Yojimbo had his own stories and he often crossovers with the TMNT and I am for this one!!!!! The TMNT had their crossover with the rangers so it makes sense for this to happen. Now hopefully Usagi gets a ranger form as well!!!!!!

Being a TMNT fan for years I thought Usagi was a TMNT character for the longest time as well. But apparently both TMNT and Usagi are owned by the same parent company, so I guess it's like a Marvel/DC thing where they crossover all the time.

OH BOY ANOTHER CROSSOVER!

Just a reminder that in next month, Boom Studios is going to announce something new about the Power Rangers comics at SDCC.

Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Did Have Lord Zedd Crossovers In The Justice League Comic.

Still wish we had Sonic x PR crossover, but the Sonic Riders arc in IDW comics introduces Sonic's new alter-ego Phantom Rider who reminds me of Phantom Ranger from PR Turbo and Sonic has a changing bracelet that looks a little like a mix of the Astro Morpher and Transmorpher.

Godzilla 2, then the Arc Crossover, now this. Man, this year is the year of the Power Ranger crossover. Also guess that fortnight crossover never happened.

Oh. So that’s what the name of the purple faced creature was that the 2015 turtles were fighting in one episode. I saw this episode when I was coming home from something on a Saturday.

Now this is a surprising crossover that I have ever heard of, but then again they already did the TMNT twice so this type of crossover was bound to happen sooner or later.

He was created by an artist by Stan Sakai and it’s always tradition to have him do a crossover with the tmnt in decades so it’s odd seeing him crossover that’s not tmnt related

Usagi also appeared in the 2003 TMNT series which is my favorite TMNT series so I'm excited

Admittably, I'm in a similar boat where I'm only familiar with Usagi from his occasional crossovers with the Ninja Turtles. But hey, this sounds like this could lead to some fun isekai shenanigans.(Also, I now have the funny mental image of the Trix Rabbit going on an epic anti-hero Bujin Tycoon revenge arc.)

I know the Mighty Morphin team is an easy go-to when it comes to crossovers due to their nostalgia impact, but this one would work far better if it were Power Rangers Samurai who met Usagi Yojimbo instead.

I did not. I am aware of the character's existence because they are a playable character in the 2022 TMNT Shreddar's Revenge game, but just like you I thought Usagi was a TMNT character because of that. Didn't realise it was it's own thing. I think crossovers are cool, the only problem I tend to find with crossovers, particular with Power Rangers and other properties, is that it tends to downplay how powerful Power Rangers are supposed to be - the Turtles crossover from In Space being a good example of this. A TMNT has no super powers, and is just a humanoid turtle with mad fighting skills; Certainly as a kid I was never under the impression they were supposed to have super speed, super strength, or anything of the sort - perhaps only super resilience due to the shell. Yet these characters, including characters like Usagi here, are then shown to be an equal match for one or even multiple Power Rangers (seems Power Rangers normally have the advantage), which tends to downplay just how powerful Power Rangers are, even based on examples from it's own series. Power Rangers are supposed to be a full enhancement package, similiar to somebody like Captain America, but even stronger due to wielding more advanced technologies.

Honestly I thought usagi was TMNT character myself.

Cool! I still hope the next "Power Rangers" comic book crossover would be with "Star Trek."

No amount of being dissed by Dosm will make me not be annoyed with MMPR. Yes, I know perfectly well why they shove them everywhere they can, the knowledge doesn't take away that mild frustration 😂

Wouldn't Ninja Storm or something work better? (Saying this knowing Dosm gets annoyed when people want non MMPR stuff)

"Cue the whining comments already" is my main issue with the fandom. I love MMPR. 30+ years and I'm not tired of it. Sorry it's the popular one, you Power Hipsters.
