#Kenworth #W900 #logtruck Here's the full video on the specs of the new truck. 2024 Kenworth W900B Extended Day Cab Log Truck. Cummins 565, 18speed, Eaton rears on 8 bag suspension. Enjoy the video!
Any and all information about building these log trucks is greatly appreciated for the next generation of us new guys!! Including hooking up drop axles, calibrating scales every little detail that may seem silly is helpful, thank you for all the information! You’re the man!
Happy New Year to you too. Nice to see you back in my all time favorite truck. You made that 990 look really good but this 900 looks great. I’m not known for loving green paint but it looks really good with the white. Looking forward to videos of you building it and putting it to work. 😊
I really like the new color! Noticed that there are no Kenworth signs on the hood sides. Hopefully I can get up one of these days while your working on it. I had alot of fun putting my new one together in 2019. Happy New Year! .
Thanks Ed, I left the emblems off the hood because I didn't want them to put them over the stripe. I may add them later on. Thanks for the continued support
I was supprised to see you upgrade so quickly ! the truck and its paint scheme look great! Like others, I would like to see your spec sheets as well, and I'm looking forward to watching your build up of this truck. Congratulations, and Merry Christmas / Happy New Year to you and yours!
Freakin sweet color I’ve always drove old trucks when I hauled logs here in mountain NC I wouldn’t know how to act in a sweet ride like yours lol I’m a dry kiln worker now at Randy Miller lumber here Wilkesboro NC. Waiting on couple more years to retire Lord willing. Really enjoy your videos just found your channel yesterday 1-9-2024.
Congratulations on your new Kenworth. It definitely has that old school look with the short hood and split windshield. You did good. I’m looking forward to watching you build it into a Log truck. I will definitely have to build a American Truck Simulator replica for with the green paint scheme. Very cool. Keep the videos coming. I always look forward to them. I really like riding along in the truck with you as well. Reminds me of when I was a kid riding with my uncle and grandfather. Once again congrats! 😎👍🏻👍🏻
The 990 was a really nice truck, but there is just something about the classic look of the w900 hood and grill staring at you. I think doing a sit video going over the specs and the process ordering g a truck would be great for people who have never experienced the process.
Happy New year Mr.FK. Wow love it, classic look of the W900, you just can't go wrong, To me It sounds like your happy to be back with this classic style of truck, that hood, that split glass windshield, the dash layout, just all looks right. Congratulations on finally getting this home. It couldn't have gone to a better owner, that truck will be well taken care of.
Truck looks sharp! Always fun as a MN logging to see west coast set up. Can’t go wrong with a W900B just a shame they’re going away. Extended cab is wonderful. But you messed up on the split windshield, we have had both and 1 piece is far easier to install believe it or not. Curious why you went with 8 bag when Primaxx or New Way are so much better off road? Video as much of the build you can!!
Thank you, it is a shame that the trucks can't stay around. That's what I get for thinking the windshield would be easier to change, probably tough to get the center lined up. I've always ran the 8 bag, not much experience with the others so kind of stuck with what I know. Thanks for the input and for watching.
I like the look of your W900 & change of green from Orange in saying that Orange was ok. Your fathers K100 cab over has been shown on youtube channel Large car Garage I prefer the wide cab 990 as I like the wide cab for room the narrow cab seems so ancient, just my opinion of course. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
thanks Derrick. I needed a change in colors, there are a lot of orange trucks in my neighborhood. Yes, the Large Car Garage guys bought my dad's truck, they are doing some cool things in their videos.
That is the style truck I love seeing. Love the W900s. Love the color scheme as well. I probably would have a slightly darker green. Big fan of the Cummins. What brand cb radios are offered in the truck?
Happy New Year!! Congratulations!! Love that change in the color combination. The extra room with the extended day cab should be nice. Are you planning on double tapering this truck? She is going to glow with amber and green lights early in the morning. I am looking forward to the build process of this truck. Congratulations again!! 💚🤩🌲
Beautiful truck, congrats. It seems like you just got the 990 and it's already gone. I like the front bumper and I think it would be less likely to get damaged if you were in the mud and ruts.
Really nice truck. I like the color change I retired from Boise Cascade and our frames are the same green looks nice when clean. I am 6'4 and drove a T800 with a extended day cab you will appreciate the extra leg room. Would like to see a video on the build sheet. Good luck with the new ride Happy New Year.
I remember they had green frames, the extra room in the cab is really nice. Copy on the build sheet. Thanks for the continued support and Happy New Year.
I used to mechanic for the local gravel company during winter layoffs. They bought a used Boise Cascade truck and when I saw your colors that came to mind. When the owner brought it home one of the drivers looked at that green and said, " I have a lot of fishing lures that color. I know that truck will catch fish." We dubbed it "Bass Killer Green."@@FourthOver
Beautiful truck and paint scheme and i like the existing bumper. Looking forward to building bunks and trailer. If you care to share, would be great to know why you decided to change rigs so soon and what was the thought process.
Are you planning on using your usual trailer or did you sell that as well? I like the white and green colour scheme very much -very distinctive. Here is a Happy New Year wish that is kind to you and all your family as well as hoping 2024 being adequately prosperous! Dan
Thanks for the kind words, Dan, Happy New Year to you. I sold the other truck as a complete unit so I have another trailer lined up, should be ready in a month or so. Thanks for watching.
It just wasn't my favorite. It is a nice truck but nothing like the W900. Plus I can open the hood on the new one! Happy New Year and thanks for watching
@@FourthOver man, wish I had known that when we ordered mine....that would have come in handy.....we had a new salesman that didn't know a whole lot..... 🤷🏻♂️
@@FourthOver check where the heater and transmission cooler lines are plugged into the block, I've had to replace all of ours, a true pain on the side of the road. Peterbilt uses brass, I've had to update using them. KW for them for me
@@ericvanswoll4611 Ok I think that block is plastic. I will check it out. I know I would like to add some shut off valves so in case of a hose blowing out. Thanks for the heads up
Wasn't totally happy with it, and with the rumors of the W900 being discontinued I thought if I was able to get one I was going to do it. Thanks for watching
