Welcome. I put this channel up to follow the restoration of a 1986 Kenworth W900B that belonged to a friend of mine. I've been a truck nut my entire life and after watching some other channels here I thought it would be fun to film the progress on this rebuild. Hopefully you enjoy the videos. I currently own and operate a log truck in California. I may post other truck related video's as well.
Thank you for the ride along and all the different camera angles. I really enjoy watching all of your videos! Have you found the right chrome hubcaps for your trailer yet?🌲
It’s to bad the truck gets dirty every day but you didn’t buy it to be a pavement queen. Glad to see the west coast fires aren’t effecting your business. The shots from under the load are cool. Be safe my friend.
Thanks for the video. How do you know if you're overweight before leaving for the mill or does the state/county not have weight limits for logging trucks?
Hauling with only 5 axles would be so fun ! Most of the mills here have gone to cut to length and haul on 8 and 9 axle configurations Great job on the truck 👍
You should see how it's done in Canada at Kimberly Clark. They don't even have a connection to the rear wheels, just the logs going back to a bogie axle. And you can walk right underneath. They make their own roads to drive on you may only drive on with a permit. And move over and stop when a truck goes by.
It's the bottom of our load ticket, kind of a visual aid to know who's logs they are when you drive by someone. Forest Service uses different kind of tags. Thanks for watching.
I'm surprised we are able to do anything in this state. I usually throw one or two wrappers in the landing depending how the load looks. New truck is good, thanks for watching.
I never knew Lincoln could be so busy!! Some darn good looking rides though! Keep the great videos coming.🔥✅🌲 Thank you for putting them out there for us to watch.
Those new LED headlights look great!! Are you planning to update the blinker lights on your mirrors as well to LED,s or leave them stock? Catch you on the next one. 🌲
Thanks Cody, yes the blinker lights are on the to do list, I have them, just too lazy to get them on there. I did put LED bulbs in the factory square ones. Happy Fourth!
Lookin' good 👍🏻👍🏻.....I use the Trux brand...the ones that look almost like the factory ones not the ones they have that look like alien eyes......ran them in my old truck as well with no issues but in my new truck, '23, twice now have gotten a message on dash, low beam fault detected.....not sure what that's about but when I got the message the first time, my low beams went out...at night....of course flipped to high beam....happen to push in selector knob for the menu and message disappeared and low beams came back on......very strange.....oh, and from factory, my headlights were not aimmed whatsoever.... passenger shooting up and driver's down......bout oar for course these days🤷🏻♂️
I have got that message before on my 2014, but I think my lights stayed on. I'm thinking I still need to adjust the lights. Thanks for the input and for watching
Why don’t you extend your compensator ? Everyone near me always extends it a little bit for some reason I was just wondering if there was any difference
I modified my latch so I have about a two inch gap when I hook up. If I'm on a humped landing I'll stretch out a bit more. Thanks for the question and for watching
