From my testing it doesn't matter much I think the best deal would be to get an AM4 X3D Processor

If you haven't seen it by now, here's more than likely the reason Amd won't allow Dlss. (b) NVIDIA Trademark Placement in Applications with the DLSS SDK or NGX SDK. For applications that incorporate the DLSS SDK or NGX SDK or portions thereof, you must attribute the use of the applicable SDK and include the NVIDIA Marks on splash screens, in the about box of the application (if present), and in credits for game applications. (c) NVIDIA Trademark Placement in Applications with a licensed SDK, other than the DLSS SDK or NGX SDK. For applications that incorporates and/or makes use of a licensed SDK, other than the DLSS SDK or NGX SDK, you must attribute the use of the applicable SDK and include the NVIDIA Marks on the credit screen for applications that have such credit screen, or where a credit screen is not present prominently in end user documentation for the application

That's a pretty good reason for AMD to not allow it.

I think that the new power cables that NVidia is using are too thin. I am no engineer but I feel like they should be a bit thicker to handle the 600 watts and also better connectors.

I agree. Any cable that can fail this frequently did not have enough testing

I am happy that I snagged a 3080 last year on a nice sale...will give me a lot of mileage and will more than likely swap to an AMD card whenever I'm ready for a new one. It's just crazy watching how much Nvidia is fumbling these 40 series releases. Hopefully they learn a lesson from this and future releases are better.

I saw your video on the RX 6800 XT. I got one for $300 from a friend. I have a Ryzen 5 5600g PC. Would I be able to run the 6800 XT with my processor at 1080p gaming until I upgrade my stuff? I have 32 gb and had an rx 6600 in the system, but it died on me.

You should be good at 1080p there will be a slight bottleneck but it would not affect you if you are gaming within 120hrz
