Have the Elite BDP-09fd. Modified. Sound for disc is extremely good. Slighty darker but highly resolving. Beats other players I have for redbook playback. Will follow your progress on this. Thanks!
Thank you for your valuable informations. I have a question. Mine has problem with the HDMI out port, every time I plugged the HDMI cable from This Pioneer player to TV, and it didn't working. Not detected or no signal on the TV. I unplugged and plugged again with another hdmi cable, still did not working / no signal. How could we know whether the HDMI out port still good or not? I got this remarkable Pioneer player in second hand and very well condition. I tested all other digital and analog ports, They're still working well, except the HDMI out port only. I agree with you and have to say, so lucky can get this Pioneer high end DVD/SACD player. The appearance is very nice and well built quality. Anyway I use it for listening to audio CD / SACD purpose only. Unfortunately, the HDMI out port is not working either because of broken or dirty. Do you have any idea how to check or repair the HDMI out port? Thank you...
