I got an email that these particular guns were on sale and impulse got the better of me even though I had vowed to not buy any more of the troubled guns coming from Ethiopia, I succumbed to a moment of weakness and pulled the trigger
I like a good project so it’s not as much of a risk for me and if the price is cheap enough I know I can add value to the piece by working on it. I also like the historical provenance each one has that tells it’s story. Thanks for commenting!
I figured it had something to do with a hand guard that clipped on. I guess finding one of those is a lost cause, it seems the safety is also is scarce as hen’s teeth.
Thanks! They are well used and took quite a beating when they went from black powder to smokeless. I just cleaned mine up and boiled the rust and it looks 100% better. That video coming soon!
