Another Spider Injector For My 2004 Astro Van - Bye, Bye, misfires

Just bought a 99 AWD Astro. It was a blind buy because I'm not a mechanic. It was obvious that someone really cared for this van. The fluids were clean as a whistle, new LED lights front and back with some really fancy looking tires. I kept thinking of a video you made about buying or selling one of these vans. It does have a cover on the steering wheel but the netting is perfect and it came with a manual. Unfortunately it has a towing package but the engine sounded so good and the transmission shifted perfectly with sparkling clean fluid. The stereo sounded great but then he took the speakers and I suspect that it needs to be hooked back up. One thing I'm curious about, he had a wire connected to the battery for what I don't know. I expected to see the gas gauge move when I drove it home to Sarasota about 15 miles in heavy traffic but it used almost no gas. At the time I mistakenly thought that it was an 8 cylinder. I still haven't taken it to my mechanic because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it. I'm only 5'1 with one leg so I have trouble getting in and out of it hence the reason that none of my family members would go with me to look at it. Also no front or rear sagging. I think that they put a special muffler on it because it sounds so powerful. I really enjoy your videos! Thank you.

I put a body lift on my van . The extra room is awesome . I did not lift the engine , I just do the beach . Not many hills or rocks there . No real need too. The extra room from the body lift is great for mechanicin

Twisting the seat breaks the seal. Just like a nut that refuses to move, you tighten it first sometimes helps.

just signed up for g mail and youtube to get your and Wonderhussey y.t. subscribed to. I can do a timing belt job in 2 hours but mon these internets is a challenge to me. I bough a '99 awd astro in August '22 to move into when my landlord died and I had to get out. Then the Rain started and I've haven't gotten squat done on my van build. I like your build and you understandable and have common sense and I'm already getting some ideas, thanks!

I got a 96 astro chevy same problems po300 code misfires for couple miles only runs better when i floor it then after awhile misfire goes away im buying everything you’ve replaced to be safe

Sound really smooth on the video man . Now that I've seen you do this 2 times , it makes me laugh at all the mechanics telling me it's really really expensive and a hard job . Lol

When you were getting the misfire codes, which cylinder was it saying? I’m having 3cyl misfire and did a full tune up still got it, cleared the code and waiting for it to come back if it does. This is my next thing to do. Did you get better fuel economy?

What brand failed on you and what brand is the 2nd one? Just wondering,I'm about to do mine and there are so many choices. Thanx!

If your still having random misfires you might want to do your timing chain if you haven't already especially with 200k miles, my engine had 160k and kept throwing misfire codes and it was the timing chain it was very stretched out.

So can I ask I know you had the rough idle problem but did it do any type of surging under light throttle ?

does this fix the studdering when being at 55mph on the freeway? my truck seems to have a lack of power for my 99 astro.

Remember V 6s are known for vibrating more than a V8 at idle .
