Late May and Early June is the time of the Deer Fawn Birthing it seems in the back yard. Fawns grow up to be Mothers themselves and here is on of my previous fawn guest, now a mother and the cycle completes..
It's so good how you show this. Too many people see a fawn and think it's been abandoned not knowing that this is what mommas do. Newborns don't have a scent for predators to find so leaving them alone is their best protection just as you've shown! You're so wonderful to provide a safe haven for little wild forest friends.
This is also true for rabbits! Cottontail and domestic rabbits leave their babies alone and seem "uninterested" in them. Momma rabbit comes to feed her babies for about 5 minutes (usually in the early morning, pre-dawn) and clean them up, then she's off again. No scent means safety when you're too small, young or inexperienced to run from predators!
@@cazz1844 I did not know that! Awesome. I had a momma bunny as a kid. My mom told me no hands in her box for 2 weeks. I was scared because she'd pulled all the fur out from her neck and stuffed it in the box. After two weeks my mom let me open the box and to my delight there were 6 tiny little adorable bun buns just in time for Easter! All the neighborhood kids got to take one home when they were on their own. I'll never forget that special Easter surprise. 🐣
7:55 a squirrel come to her that she not so long alone?! You have a wonderfull garden where the animals can find a peacefull place to relax and sleep, the animals instinct tell the deer, squirrels and so on that you are a good human, you can be proud that the wild animals come to your home!! Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany
I had to watch again. So peaceful. I think they have a little piece of heaven right there in your backyard. Darling little creatures and bird song. 🐦 💕
So sweet & your wonderful for allowing baby deer & the mom to stay there, your yard must be the most accommodating birthing place for those sweet dear🌹🌹🌹
i have wild bunnies that do the same thing. Generation after generation, they come give birth on the side of my house. Then there’s a coon family that lives under my pool deck. It’s pretty cool when they feel safe around u
Deer use people all the time for safety. I have a herd of 10-12 deer on my property. I also have some coyotes. My personal pet is a Doberman who has a fenced in area for play and training. The deer realize the Dobe is never of lease and she hates coyotes. So the deer bed down and birth their fawns just outside the fenced in Dobe area. It’s all pretty amazing, the Dobe never barks at them and the deer never provoke the dog.
Yup! They use everything to their advantage, last year my wild whitetail Zoe parked me w/her fawns in my back yard w/my wild rabbit friend, we had a great time. I've known her matriarchal lineage for 20 yrs, they have held the territory longer..Walking w/ absolutely wild untamed deer, sitting with them nightly, seeing each other @ least 4-6 days a week is priceless opportunity for further education .. hoping to compile my knowledge w/others & videos someday, knowledge, respect & acknowledgement lead to mutually beneficial relations..tread in peace, and peace will remain🥰👍❤🦌
Years ago, when our daughter was in 3rd grade she would go out to the swing and uncover the grass from the snow. We noticed them that a mama brought her baby and they would sit in that spot regularly. Each year she came back and her little one, then one year a smaller, young mum came with her little ones to that spot. In the spring summer they come back running in the yard and sitting back under the trees. The kids hit a ball into the treeline one day and I saw mama and babies were around there. I got ony hands and knees and got the ball, but not before catching mama laying there, watching me. The babies were closer to me than I realized. I backed out on my hands and knees, telling mama that I meant no harm...just getting the ball! Boy I couldn't believe how big she was! We see them from in house or the porch and she sees us, but she didn't look that big! Love seeing them in the back yard, just sitting there, waiting for mama to come back!
Ohhhh baby sooo cute baby.. what a beautiful young doe too.. awwh. I want to cuddle them they're soo cute and beautiful these precious creatures. Only I live in a mining town in Australia... Thank you for sharing xo. You have a lovely property too.
Il est tellement beau😍💓 et sage c'est un amour vous avez beaucoup de chance d'avoir un Dain dans votre jardin🏡 la vue est superbe, une merveilleuse petite créature, bravo à vous Monsieur 👍✋🥰😜💋❤
Thank you very much for your comment.and in English below He is so beautiful😍💓 and wise it is a love you are very lucky to have a Dain in your garden🏡 the view is superb، a wonderful little creature، congratulations to you sir 👍✋🥰😜💋❤
I think you did everything right, left the fawn alone and let mom care for it. Again I think mom knows your house, is probably aware of humans but thinks it's safe. Natural predators avoid human houses so mom knew she had better odds with humans instead of Coyotes So cool she chose your yard to keep her little one safe. Moms are smart band observant. She knows predators avoid human houses and probably knew the dogs were a low threat. Cool ,,
I love it! I pray that one day I will have property to experience this. My number one thing on my bucket list 🙏❤️🙏 he looked so sad the last day by the tree 😭 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It is amazing to see. I recently came in contact with some fawns, and, if it weren't for video's such as this. I would have probably interfered with nature. They were healthy and their Mom would come feed them every couple days. In Ontario, a lot of Canadians mistake fawns for being abandoned. It's also, horrible for the Mom who comes back to find her babies gone. They will cry out for weeks looking for them.
Yup, gain momentum raising front end, then just seem to effortlessly shove off with the back legs! Beautiful to see them bound when running, but that dead high jump sure was worthy of replays!🥰
@@longWriter when you see them bounding, then they do a bounding high-jump, they look so effortless..so beautiful to see them run & jump when they are just having fun showing everyone else up! To see them showing their athletic endurance&capacities is quite something! (Makes predators think twice about trying to tackle the fastest & highest jumping prey!)
DIOS cuidalos a los animalito deer protejelos hay gentes buenas que los.cuiden y no le hagan.daño hay gente.mala que le hacen.daño DIOS guardalos DIOS TODOPODEROSO
The videos I've seen show mom only reveals herself if the fawn is in danger. Dogs have been know to walk past a concealed fawn without detecting it's scent.
Varies with intensity, lol! They have smallish skeletal structure in the snout @ the nose than some other animals, so it's more noticeable, you'll see upper lip under nose move a lot more w/the fawns, they are little motor noses!
When you have a fawn in your garden the best thing to do is leave it alone. Do not touch him even its an amazing creature (they are so adorable...) Because the mother will sent your odor. It's not a secure and a good thing to do.
Thank you for your comment and I have included the English translation .How can that expression be possible?? The human heart melts... the feeling of being purified. The cost of cigarettes and alcohol. Now I'm going to use it all to buy deer food. Hull yard and squirrels.....not Snow White.... Dwarfs? What is this uncle? partita bach
Thank you for your interest in the return of the Mom and newborn fawn. They stayed very close to my home and the birthplace for the remainder of the summer as indicated in this and many other other you tube videos of that special time. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l3OXnzU37S0.html Hope that link works and if not Just Google search youtube video the deersitter
Their ancestors have given birth there before humans learned to make fire, now it's a house and a strange ape thingy there on their sacred place of coures she is confused
Perfectly safe, PLUS ..DEER LIKE THE DRONING SOUND OF THE COMPRESSOR! Is calming, and masks sounds, & good @ keeping predators with sensitive ears away!(do chemicals bother you when near it..🤔😉👍)
@@furbabyfluffykins6550 perky ears & being quiet are good signs! They go 5-8 hours between feedings! They sure are beautiful, but best thing to do is draw no attention to them! Kinda hard to do, they really are soft & fluffy, so cute, but even I have to resist until a Momma brings them to me, sometimes they do, sometimes she'll let them engage w/me early on, some years she has waited until they were a little older(usually when she had triplets). If the mom trusts you, eventually she'll let the little ones be around you, of course on her terms!🥰👍
@@furbabyfluffykins6550 with respect, and acknowledging their needs/comfort level, over 20 years I have become "part of the family" to my local matriarchal lineage of whitetail, takes patience and respect of subtle signals, but reward is priceless! To walk and sit w/deer as family & watch their development is enlightening, I have learned so much, & we have shared so much peace together, as have my rabbit buddies, skunks, racoons, crows, my cardinal buddy Red, sparrows Jack&Jill, catbird, wrens etc..including one old Momma squirrel🥰
It must be so very relaxing where you are. I just love the incredible sounds of nature. Plus being able to look right in to the eyes of those beautiful deer & fawns. I would just love to be there. 😊😊 I have subscribed.
I remember that you called the the first one Bambeano and the this one you named Bambeanie am I right What a brave baby not being scared of the noises What a gift from god they all are if you wanted to leave some baby carrots and or grapes and she will love you for getting a treat God bless you T thought you were the one who named them I Apologize
Oh, mom might like that! Little one isn't ready yet! *Its amazing what all they eat, flora & fauna..& fungi..amazing to learn about these animals, what they eat,(you wouldntnexpect many of the things!🤔🤯🦌... HOW & WHY they eat what they do & how they live their early developing & daily lives!
Thanks for visiting . The first part taken from inside was the dishwasher as that is my Kitchen window. Outside it was the noise of the Air conditioner . Thanks for your comment.
No hunters are actually doing that. It's illegal to deliberately kill a fawn, and it doesn't even make sense when hunters usually want a buck with huge antlers to take as trophies
