A true great company ran by great people!!! Every company in the world need to open there eye and go back to the roots Todd and hunter work is a number one class act !!! Thanks for all the real deal products
I have never left a comment on a video in my life. This one compelled me to. Awesome to hear a guy that genuinely cares about his product and his customer. I love the passion, keep it up.
Bought a HW-92G belt from you for my 2020 general premium model. No more jerky starts in high gear like I was having with my oem belt, and no more painful to hear click when taking off in high gear from a dead stop. I can’t believe what a difference your belt makes! Im not that guy who leaves reviews on anything I buy,but I want to let people watching this video know you got this belt thing figured out! Great product!
Purchased a used, very low mileage 2016 Polaris RZR 900 with very bad jerking in low speed forward and reverse. The previous owner had purchased Hunterworks belt, Secondary Roller Kit and Clutch Spring Compressor Tool that they gave to us. We used these parts the first day to change the belt and Secondary rollers and VOILA!, the jerking is gone!!!!! We used these RU-vid videos to complete the project. What a difference these products made on our vehicle. Will only being using Hunterworks products without a doubt. Quality products and great company!
I do appreciate you calling me back this morning Todd. You answered all my questions I needed answered on your belts and the Dalton clutch kit. I put my order in this evening. 👍
Thanks for producing this video. Every company always says that they're the best, but you made the effort to talk about how belts are marketed and branded. I buy a lot of import parts from Asia,... Not related to the automobile industry, and its amazing that many of the expensive items we buy are actually low end products sold at a very high margin by just adding a branded lable, sleeve, or container. I will add a Polaris belt to my shopping list.
Todd, you are certainly a "hands on" fella. We love ya here in SoCal. Your instructional vids have helped us greatly on our small fleet of Rangers. Just placed an order for a belt. Looking forward to your products and future help. Your kind emails were also very much appreciated. Victor @ Saint Jospeh's Hill of Hope
BEEN RUNNING THE THICK BELT ON MY 1K FOR 3 MONTHS AND IT GAVE ME MY LOW END TORQUE BACK. NO SLIPS SO FAR. RUNNING 32" 12.50 R18 WITH A STOCK CLUTCH. I BASH ON IT LIKE IT'S A RENTAL.
@@Hunterworks Are you saying I should send it more? Haha - just a bit jarring especially in reverse when just cruising around the neighborhood. I will do a first time inspection on the clutches when the new belt arrives Monday!
I'm on the fence about your belts or the gboost belts.... I think a lot of people are as well all my friends think that gboost is the best any opinions on this all so it would be nice to see a video doing a stress test
Ran your belts since 2018. On my RZR turbo only lost one and you replaced it. Thank you for great customer service!!! I tell everyone they should run you stuff.
My Yamaha Attack Snowmobile eats belts in deep snow. They last pretty well on groomed trails .. I have been told that Dayco Ultimax belts are the best.. I have a couple of new ones that I paid $80.00 for in 2014.. Prices sure have gone up ..
Depends on the climate we in Dubai we have winter weather but the drive belt won't last for 3 weekends say like from Friday to the other ones an advis to buy trinity drive belt but this product It will be good for us to have it coz Polaris the ones in Dubai there sale only for Polaris
How's it going I hope your business is running good do you make belts for Piaggio 500 your presentation on the Belt that look pretty good I'm using malossi belt right now
Great video, can't be more clear than that ha ha I need to replace belt on a 2012 hisun 400 utv don't want a oem can u set me up tell me what number belt I need an ware to get it. Tnx todd.
Good afternoon, I have a polaris rzr 1000 xp, 2017, we walk on dirt road, always at the limit, the polaris oem belts are not holding, their belts are stronger than those of polaris oem? any suggestion that we do not have belt problems breaking?
Hi Todd. I'm looking at purchasing a belt come summer time for our rzr 900 xp. I'll have to double check the website but I'd also like one for my xp 850 too. Also, do you have plans to go into snowmobiles too?
If im running a 2023 rzr trail 900 with 29" tires, mainly slower speed (50kmh or less) trail riding in low, what belt would you recommend as well as maybe clutch kit if needed in your opinion?
not sure what 50k is in mph but if mainly slower then no kit needed really, but you do need our secondary rollers to replace square pucks and our 900 belt, only one
Do you recommend washing your belt before putting it on ? I have seen some say to wash it in warm soapy water when it is new to get any residue off from the manufacturing process.
My 2020 xp1000 clutches are done. Switched to rollers in secondary far too late. Started loosing a lot of top speed, checked primary and two weights and rollers are extremely worn and the third looks only lightly used. I ordered new clutches and also ordered a dynojet pkg that has a clutch kit and tuner. Does your belt work well with that set up? I’m a fast forest trail rider and slower rocky trails as well, nothing like Moab, it’s more washed out trails that leave the sharp granite and rounded rocks exposed to deal with.
What clutches did you get and send all this in an email to todd@hunterworks.com so i can help better. Only a couple of good choices on clutches and kits
After watching this video i jumped on your website to see prices and such. I have a 2015 can am maverick xds turbo. I noticed you have a belt for the maverick, does the turbo and non turbo use the same belt?? I was under the impression that the two clutches varied from each other?? Thx
DO I NEED A BELT? During start up of my 2019 Polaris Ranger, this has happened 2-3 times already. When I put it in drive, not pushing the accelerator pedal, it being moving with my foot on the break.
You say if you have a problem with your product and you will fix it. I will call you tomorrow. It's on the spider tool.....over the years I have liked everything I bought from you but this tool is not up too par.
We have a 2017 Polaris 1000 and I’ve tightened the belt and it connects. If I turn off the engine and restart it the secondary stops spinning. Any ideas?
Hi I want to by your belt for my 2021 Rzr 1000 xp non turbo. I do mostly trail riding with a bit of speed but also lug along sometimes and some mud hole when they in my way to get across something. I know i do a bit of everything. What belt do you recommend for this. Regular or thick belt.
I have a 2021 RZR XP 4 1000. Is it ok to install the Hunterworks STD White Washer while running an OEM belt? I will have two HW std belts shortly but I've got an OEM belt on the machine now and the dealer included another OEM belt for free so I would like to take advantage of the (essentially free) OEM belts that I have until they're no good before switching over to HW from then on. Also, I'm told to put the brand new OEM belt in the dishwasher to rid the internal oils of the belt instead of allowing them to burn off during the belt break-in process. Could someone confirm that? Should I do the same thing to the new HW belts? TIA!
You do not need to wash either belt and a standard washer has nothing to do with Hunterworks belts watch the video on the washer and check out the belt FAQs on our website
Will Ll these belts work on the Pro xp 4 seater and do you think the pro xp is a good machine and do you think it will rip up the ride parks in a good way
I have a 2021 Ranger 1000 SOHC, I'm running the RVS performance clutch kit (lighter weights and different primary spring). Is your belt compatible with my setup?
Can you make a video about the new 2021 Polaris General XP / XP4? I just got this machine and I would like to get your belt. Your website site vague and confusing when it comes to the new General. What belt do I use? What are the benefits or caveats of a thick belt? Do I need a white washer? Has the belt slap been resolved in the 2021? Does your go / no go alignment tool work on this machine? Thank you in advance!
The site should not be vague, only one choice of belt for a XP General, the tool vehicle listing says all generals. Thick belt not listed for a general only XP RZR. No where on the site to really put much about 21 and belt slap, they improved the clutching on it but not by much. White STD washer is a good idea on the General XP. I probably should do a new video about the General XP though
Thank you for the reply. Maybe I’m reading it wrong, but on your site under Polaris General Accessories there are two belts. HW-STD 2020-2021 XP General belt and HW-92G 2016-21 General Belt. I assumed the layer was the thick belt and the first was the standard belt.
@@fierodough No sir, the 92g when clicked says not for XP and there is two different vehicles in 21 a General and a 21 General XP . one uses a general belt from polaris and one uses a RZR belt from polaris.
Sounds simple enough but it hasn’t been the belt the performed great on the bike was a OEM bell from a different Honda bike and they don’t make the bill anymore we will have to cross reference or I need a much beefier stock Honda belt replacement. The belt that performed well that wore out was part number 23100 Das The belt that performed well that war out was part number 23100-Kfga-0030. Honda does not offer this part number anymore. The OEM belt that I bought to replace it I do not like it at all it’s very wimpy looking the part number on it is 23100-kfg-6410-m1 . I have pictures of both belts side-by-side I hope we can do business
Well if you could direct me to someone who can cross reference the part numbers and get the correct sizes I would really appreciate that thank you for your time
My buddy and I both have general xp4 2022, OEM belt and clutch. We both have what appears to be rub marks on the inside bottom of the belt cover (below the secondary clutch). Is this normal?
@Hunterworks I'm thinking I need a thick belt cause live in eastern ky so ride hills hills and more hills with some blacktop. My concern with the Thick belt can u still run at a little higher speed when u need to? Have some short blacktop rides where we run 45-55

Yeah? Well I do blame Polaris. Their business model is to stick the broom handle as far up your keister as is will go and break the handle off. I needed a driver's side steering boot. $60 at the dealer(zipties were extra) for a Chinese made part. I bought Chinese made driver and passenger side boots for $14 on Amazon, zipties included. At the exact same dealer I bought a brand new Polaris front wheel and mounted tire with 75% tread for $70. The logic escapes me.
@@charliephantoms1839 WE have articles that say basically the same thing as video on our site or just buy one, they are great. Will look into the CC deal, do know how
